At first I thought that the move away from usb was dum... but then I saw the bigger picture  The idea of the latest Speedict incarnation is to be able to adjust / access on the 'fly' , and now on balance I think they were right to adopt the bluetooth method which works great in ideal...

(not sure if its the phone thats authorised + the device, or just the device thats authorised, orrrrrr just the phone.. no doubt Danny will advise)

In the case of a Harvey Frost crane fitted to a Land Rover... the kinda 'permanent solution' when lifting anything heavy was a railway sleeper onto the front bumper tied on with rope :D

An issue has now reared its ugly head :( Despite a constant and steady throttle, either mid or full... Speedict cuts out after a little while (port 4 output falls to 0), redid the new firmware 1.0.1 but to no avail...Danny is examining my ongoing reports and is looking into it. Edit... New...

2 and the other 2 (brakes) to 11 & 12 13 (5 wires) go to the 6 pin plug, match the colours 1 looks like it goes to 4 Your picture would be better if the connectors were fanned out so that size and number / colours could be seen better. You may have 4 single wires, 2 of each colour... These...

    Car charging battery

Just to say that the quick / dirty way I showed would need a relay and fuses rated to the alternator output... Which will be bigger than shown, the other method as given by Mike is a much better solution Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Car charging battery

You need a split charging relay.. The wiring is as in this picture The relay would be fitted near to the alternator & main battery and needs a separate charging cable to the 2nd battery, so it's unlikely that your existing wiring would be available for using (cos it would be dedicated for...

I don't do green :p "Imagine" was used to induce a train of thought, rather than a trip through the looking glass (ask alice) Seriously though ... it would work, small issue maybe with adding additional thickness of the sensor mounts on to the crank, but that can be overcome by making a new...

Now heres a cunning plan (no cheese involved and its cheap) Imagine fitting an extra sensor ... to a switch (spst) just on the output line which adds the 2nd sensor pluses in parallel to the 1st. Switch open = pulses per minute from the original sensor 1 Switch closed = 2 x pulses per minute...

Err.... Ummm I hear what you want to do... But it may not be easy to achieve, maybe when Danny gets to doing the 'quick short cuts' maybe he can do a number of magnets one... Which will alter the rate of PAS pulses per revolution of the crank rather than trying to alter the back ground...
