    I've got the horn!

Finally I've realised that a bell doesn't cut it on the mean streets of Bradford, people still step out in front of me, and Friday was the last straw with a bus overtaking me then pulling to the side very sharply forcing me up onto the pavement and almost into a bush. So as I'm still waiting...

Tonaro Compy mid drive for sale

Well I finally decided to sell the Compy I've been rebuilding. I've got a nice bike that I use daily and so don't need another nice bike and before the vultures on ebay get a chance I thought it's better to offer it on here. It's a great bike that came to me after being in storage for 2 years...

Repaired a piece of history today!

My local bike shop have no knowledge of ebikes and as I'm their only ebiker customer they pointed one of their repairs to me. It was an old PowaByke in bright red (the owner believed it may have been ex post office at some time) the batteries (SLA) were depleted, they'd charge up but under load...

Repairing a named make battery with a faulty BMS, battery cells all good, full pack nearly 40v off charge but under load 11v! still 40v into the bms, so i ordered a BMS from Andy at Woosh, and it looked like a dead easy swap out, until I got to the balance wires. The plug was wired the wrong way...

    Nice looking ebike display

Anyone know anything about this? http://www.b-t-n.cn/productshowimg/1692295638-214733447/BTN_electric_bike_meter.html Or what controller it'd work with? Had no response to emailing them.

    BMS supplier in UK?

I'm wanting a bms for a 36v 10s build (li-ion) and looked in all the usual places but wondered if there's a UK supplier anywhere? Eclipse bikes seem to do only lifepo4 ones and BMSbatterty's shipping is almost double the price of the BMS. Any ideas anyone?

Need some advice recovering some batteries

So, bought a couple of batteries off Ebay, faulty, marked as do not charge. They're 36v 9Ah ones designed for Momentum bikes. Out of the box they read about 4V, so out with the screw driver and in bits to investigate. BMS looks undamaged and measuring via the balance leads each cell is about...

    Help and Advice required!

My local bike recycling charity have asked for some advice regarding converting a cargo recumbent bike to electric to enable them to carry bikes to the local college campus where normal vehicles aren't permitted. The bike is this one http://www.bikeweb.org.uk/artbitz/adam_hart_davis1.jpg...
