does anyone know if you can adjust something to get the throttle to pull at full speed rather than just at the walking pace?

Thanks stevie oh well I will have to think of a way around the screen issue but I'm ordering mine in the morning. I will have to ask how to adjust the speed when I've got the bike in my possession.

it has a thumb throttle is this full speed or just a walking throttle and the LCD screen is it removable? If its fixed it will get wripped off in seconds where i live lol.

Hi the throttle I have is the motorcycle type ( looks like one but isn't off a motorbike) rather than the thumb type. I had to extend the length of cable and re attach the plug but it just plug right in with no problems at all. As you turn the throttle you pull away as you would on a motorbike...

Must be the wire that is at fault as all you need to do is plug in the throttle. Nothing else is needed. Did it plug in ok? Is the throttle faulty?

This is what your looking for hanging off the controller the. Throttle plugs in to this.

Push key in and turn towards handle bars when key stops turning push key in harder and you will feel the key slide in a little deeper turn again towards handle bars this unlocks battery. Pull on the battery handle and give a little wiggle and the battery pops off.

Just wanted to say the cable you can see going to the back of the bike on the picture is the charging wire not the throttle cable. The throttle is tied to the other cables with tie wraps.

I got mine from Amazon mate had to lengthen the cable myself but it's plug and play so to speak it cost £6.50 I think it was it was the full throttle type just had to cut the handlebar grip off slide the full throttle one tighten with an Allen key and it was fitted. Take a look on Amazon there...

does anyone know of any company currently doing any discounts for NHS staff for e-bikes? I can get discounted products for almost everything but can't find a company selling e-bikes that do NHS discounts.
