    TV viewing tonight at 9pm

Not sure that is going to make any difference to the general conduct of cyclists even if it could be policed, which I doubt, I suspect if such plans were made law the only result would be that it reduces the number of cyclists on the road, or massive demos/riots all over the country.

    Suppressed Inventions

That sound very much like the official spin. Toyota was able to improve the NiMH technology that GM was forced to scrap Toyota, Panasonic and other battery makers were sued, forcing a settlement agreement of $30,000,000 to Chevron.

    Suppressed Inventions

The Gm EV1 Scandal was about the BATTERY TECHNOLOGY that was bought, and buried, under patent law by a subsidary company that was owned by the oil company(CHEVRON) patent rights don't expire until 2014. Seems patent law is still being used to supress technology despite any law changes...

    Road Safety Changes Poll

I would not worry about new laws to make the roads safer, in the next 10/20 years, people on low to average income will not be able to afford their own transport due to the diminishing oil reserves, the only question is whether affordable, viable alternatives will be found in time, if not, our...

Too many criminals on our roads

" only a few give the rest a bad name." My perception is the opposite, the majority of cyclist I come across seem to have a cavalier attitude to the interpretation of the highway code, from minor infractions to downright dangerous behaviour

Too many criminals on our roads

I thought the programme was balanced between cyclist, and motorist. There are a lot of cyclist that do act like morons on our roads, I see them every day, which does give a bad name to those cyclist that are law abiding, and try to promote responsible road craft. My conclusion is that the fault...

5 times increase at 1/5 the cost in 5 years? What are you smoking?

Graphene foam batteries have been quoted as having similar performance as Lithium, but the charge times are quoted to be as low as 15 minutes, which sounds like a big step forward in usability

5 times increase at 1/5 the cost in 5 years? What are you smoking?

That sounds like lithium has maxed out on performance, further development to increase a further 1/5th at 5x the cost would be far to expensive IMHO

Why don't we make bikes in the UK any more.

To be able to manufacture e-bikes in Britain will require a Banking system that is pro business. Our Banks are very reluctant to lend to small/medium industrial ventures, despite the Bank of England incentives to Banks to increase there lending to business, they still prefer to speculate on...

    CycleCharge Meeting, 4pm today

Sadly I am not able make a contribution due to timing of meeting but would like to leave a suggestion I expect it has already been thought of: To me the most obvious supplier of national charge points would be petrol retail outlets, the national infrastructure is already in place. If...
