Hi to all.... My A2b Shima has finally "expired" after 5 years of faithful service. I would really like to replace it with another. But, there seems to be some doubt as to whether A2B are still in existence. If not, can anyone suggest an comparable alternative ??? Any lightly used ones out...

That's very interesting. A bike such as the A2B Shima for £500 would be fantastic! Do you have any more information on this Cyclamatic? stuff like what make and model are the brakes, groupset etc ?

If anyone is interested I have a brand new A2b shima battery for sale. These are £650 ish new and will take £475 It's the magnetic connection and not suitable for an A2b Octave (Shima or Alva + only)

The Shima? It's gone but looking at the spec it was a real beast and I can't see how it could be brought into line with current legislation.

...so if i had a go at them i would have nothing to test it on as i have an octave with a magnetic conection not the screw type. I have a shima with a throttle fitted and that battery has done 3,500 miles and is starting to get a little tired but is still useable and good for a full power blast...

Nobody interested? This is an absolute bargain, and a one-off opportunity. You wont find a used Shima for sale anywhere else. The bike is absolutely amazing. Battery is 13.2 Ah, 36V and has only done the 174 miles. The bike is "as new" so grab yourself a bargain :)

If I was in the market an A2B Shima would be nice. It has a 500w motor and can go up to 28mph, though unlike most A2Bs it does not come with a throttle.
