Uh oh. Why this obsession with 'bettering' oneself. Why not just BE oneself???? Even if that self is a failure? Yes James even that. (you're talking to yourself now - is that wise? No. Probably not) :-)

Stolen - Kalkhoff Pro Connect Disc

What kind of lock did you have? Did they cut it or pick it? (just so as I can make sure not to use that kind)

Indalo has hit the nail on the head. As I was watching the game it became obvious that the reason we were losing was because the Italians obviously rode sleek, sexy, expensive (and mudguardless note) e-bikes - whereas our boys have to make do with 1970's Chopper bikes. The obvious...

Oxygen looking for part time technician-engineer

Andrew I am beginning to get the feeling this forum may not be the best place to advertise for this post. It seems like the people here are not taking this seriously enough. Perhaps we need stronger moderation from those with the power to control these things.

Thanks. It says its Shimano compatible so I am taking pot luck I guess. As in I am planning to use this: Shimano Thumb Shifters Tx50 7SPD as the gear changer. One other thing - some people say I will need to put a new chain on as the 6 speed cassette and 7 speed as so different - me I'm...

Yes that is a shame - I searched high and low on the net but only that place in the US showed up. Ah well. You live and you learn I should have asked here first eh?

Would you ride an e-bike without mudguards

Now now. Be nice to Anne. Walk a mile in a (wo)mans shoes before judging him (her). Mind you - she's catholic - any person who believes in some supernatural being that can convict you of thought crime deserves all they get I suppose. [insert evil grin]

Just what I was looking for.

Ok so for those keeping up with the story the 44T front 14 rear on the Burisch was hopelessly too low geared so I tried upping it first to 48 then 50T at the front but even thats not much good......... So then I think OK so I need a smaller rear cog top gear - 14T is just too big. BUT - and...

Who knows the mind of a cycling terrorist though eh?

Would you ride an e-bike without mudguards

To be serious for a moment..... My Oxygen has brackets for quickly putting a front mudguard on and I have one of those easy on/off rear ones - if it remotely looks like rain they go on - if not they stay off because I think it looks better without them! The Burisch has no bracket and I only...

Would you ride an e-bike without mudguards

Again one has to look at the pro's and con's of literally everything. In this example one needs to examine closely the pro's of getting your bike dirty. :-)

Would you ride an e-bike without mudguards

Another advantage of NOT having mudguards is that your bike gets dirty so you have to take it into the front room and clean it. Which is fun. You need as many excuses as possible to take your bike inside and do things to it. This is yet another device for exactly that.

Would you ride an e-bike without mudguards

This is a statement of fact. Mudguards are completely and utterly for wimps and anybody who even remotely disagrees with this is by definition a wimp. :-)

Would you ride an e-bike without mudguards

Riding without mudguards has many advantages obviously overlooked by some of our more sensible members: 1) it makes you look sexier to girls and increases your chances of getting some 2) it reduces the weight of your bike by at least 200g which makes you go faster 3) going faster enables you...

Major Momentum New Supplier on Ebay

OK so Luke - the guy who I asked about the weight and the Chainring - he emailed me saying he wants to post here but he cant because his registration is not through and asked could I post something here from him - I couldn't think up much of a valid reason why not (I'm all for free speech me) -...

Major Momentum New Supplier on Ebay

Update on the Burisch - seeing as you mention it - and I bought one for those paying attention..... Well its almost as I want it now. As in I have put a 50T chainring on it which just about allows me to keep up with the peddaling in top gear - but it has thrown the geometry out so I have had...
