    Cycle roadside breakdown Rescue

Many thanks for all the comments on this subject, I shall explore Taxivan, and if that is not available here in Cornwall I shall strongly consider the ETA cover. We always take locks with us wherever we go, however, we often cycle in very rural areas where there would be hardly anything to...

    50cycles After Sales Service

Dear Pete, Good suggestion, as you say I'm sure I should have been contacted, however, perhaps 50 cycles will confirm on this site that they have in fact located the 5 clients, I am the type of person who usually has bad luck with my purchases, but I'll wait a while before I contact them...

    Cycle roadside breakdown Rescue

My biggest fear is having a problem with my bike at the side of the road, and perhaps more particularly that my husband, who has a chronic heart problem, but gets great benefit and enjoyment from cycling on his Ezee Sprint, breaks down and needs assistance. Obviously a mobile phone is...

Got a eZee Sprint 7 - it is fantastic

Hi, I'd be interested in the reply as I have also experienced cut out on the Sprint, so has my husband. It seems to be when going up a steep hill, or when approaching a junction on e-bike, breaking at junction and then setting off almost immediately, it seems to cut out, but does resolve...

Many thanks Flec, I'l print your reply off and this weekend will look at my bike closely, your instructions are, as always, very clear, and from memory, fits in with the type of fitting on my bike. I'll let you know how I get on after the weekend kind regards Jeanette:)

    Ezee Sprint chain tightening

The chain on my Sprint needs tightening and I believe it involves tightening two nuts at the end of the frame, however, is this an easy thing to do? or should I put the bike into a bike shop for this to be done? Are special tools required ? If I carry on riding with a slack chain for a while...

Bike Carrier for Ezee Sprint ?

Dear Flecc Thanks very much for replying so soon - I had not considered the length of the bike, but I will look into the matter deeper and hope in the meantime that someone on the Forum may have experience of bike carriers. I really do find this Forum interesting and helpful, as well as...

    ezee torq speed limiter

Hi, Is there a spead limiter on the Ezee City Sprint? - and if so is it disabled in the same way? I guess removing it would mean you could go faster without pedling but this would, of course, use more battery ? thanks Jeanette

Bike Carrier for Ezee Sprint ?

Hi, I want to fit a carrier onto my Nissan Sunny 5 door hatchback (which has a small spoiler on the back). It would need to carry two sprint bikes - minus the batteries, of course, so the combined weight would be around 48-50 kgs, the sprint is a step thro so has no cross bar - so I'm not...

    Ezee Sprint brakes

Thanks Flec, In fact my previous experience with brakes is not with a Sprint - I have the latest model - You comments are very helpful, I now feel more confident about them. I appreciate what you say about balancing the arms side to side - however, i was not sure whether to lossen or tighten...

    Ezee Sprint brakes

Hi, both my husband and I have an Ezee Sprint, living in hilly Cornwall. We have only had them for a couple of months, they were definitely a good choice. Having experience of a Brompton with a Heinzmann motor, and a Giant Twist electric bike, I find the brakes on my Sprint somewhat...
