They sell batteries with no name and branded cells. It is up to you to choose a good battery. PS Why did you choose Toseven motor from China? It is illegal and practically without warranty.

£200 is a very good price for "like new" Cannondale Adventure. You can wait few years for lower prices, but then nobody will give you back lost time. I paid £500 and don't regret.

Have you actually tried to do it? If I were you I would remove bottom bracket, slide motor in and see how bad it is. Keep in mind neither your bike nor motor are listed buildings. Don't be afraid to file motor and frame to make a better fit.

I remain unconvinced. Cycling paths around Plymouth are much more beautiful. If they want me to visit Switzerland, they must try much harder than that.

What you need is a bike on which you would be comfortable to ride for many hours. I would suggest full suspension. Eventually suspension seatpost and suspension stem as a minimum. Also proper trekking geometry so you wouldn't end up with a neck pain after few hours.

It is not cheap. Looks quite expensive to me. What you need is a good big battery or two to keep you going whole day. This bike has tiny battery - only 11Ah. North to south France is quite an adventure. Perhaps you would find a minute or two to write more about your plans?

Shame you didn't ask before buying. TSDZ2B was a great motor, but it is obsolete now. TSDZ8 is much better.
