    200km Range Ebike

Safety would be my main concern. Few months ago somebody managed to ram my car while we all were stuck in traffic because (ironically) there was another car accident up ahead. There are far to many shite drivers and iphone zombies around to ride low profile vehicle.

    200km Range Ebike

It is not in petrol lobby interest to have them on the market. Very overpriced things BTW. You can have this one instead: https://uk.fiido.com/products/fiido-titan-robust-cargo-electric-bike-with-ul-certified

    Hi from Fleet, Hampshire

Except this Estrali might be worth maybe max £400. At £250 it would be a good deal. https://ebiketips.road.cc/content/reviews/folding-e-bike/estarli-e207-original-pro-4575 Zoom up pictures from review posted by Peter to see a lot of rust.

    Hi from Fleet, Hampshire

Long story short - shite components at extortionate price. If you insist on splashing out money on ready made disposable bike at least shop around more. Check this one https://www.paulscycles.co.uk/bikes/electric-bikes/rocky-mountain-fusion-powerplay-30-electric-mountain-bike-blackred__13798...

    Battery Fires

No. You would be literally making a bomb. The more you try to contain gasses the bigger explosion you will get. Smoke is toxic and flammable. Chimney won't remove all of it , but it is better than nothing.

    Bosch cx vs Bosch sx.

You don't need eMTB to ride on roads. At your age I will prioritize power (as mentioned above) and comfort (step through frame and relaxed up right riding position, good saddle and good suspension). Till end of my days I will avoid proprietary systems like plague, so no Bosch motors for me...

    Hop aboard the CAN Bus!

Sounds like an uphill battle. It is so much easier to outflank problem and buy simple system with black and red cables. Gouach claim limited success in this field: https://www.gouach.com/ They say their batteries are compatible with Bosch, Yamaha, Brose ETC

    Battery Fires

Looks great. If you want to treat your battery, put it in sealed plastic bag with some moisture absorbent. ...and don't be overly concerned. Battery fires panic in media are spread by petrol lobby. Having that said, it is better to be safe than sorry.

    Battery Fires

It is a huge amount of toxic and flammable smoke which is the problem, not the fire itself. That is why I think stove is a good idea as smoke would be directed outside your house. Traditional extinguishers are ineffective against battery fire.

    Battery Fires

Keeping battery in stove does make sense. £4.50 filing cabinet is useless. Why would you need ammo box in stove?

    Help needed

Check Facebook and Ebay. It might be cheaper and easier to buy entire bike than just fork. Now it is a good time to buy.
