    Battery Fires

Rope ladder stuck under the bed would be a good safety feature, but windows that actually open haven't been invented in most of the UK yet.

    Battery Fires

Life is to short to worry about what might or might not happen in the future, especially if it is beyond our control.

Ride through Telford Town park and Race with Crank-drive Bike

To me it looked like guy was minding his own business and just making sure he won't get into your way. If you want a race just say it so all participants are aware what is going on.

    Battery Fires

Some good points were raised though. If it is illegal to use, government should not allow sale. Same is in UK with electric scooters. You can buy them, but practically can't use anywhere.

    Battery Fires

Worst thing is that there were so many fires and not even a single case was properly analyzed and data published to learn from.

Help! First time conversion - Manchester

I really love my TSDZ8, but for commuting only, a 250W rear hub with 48V 500W KT controller would be my preferred choice. As a donor I would choose full size hybrid bike. TSDZ8 is better for leisure and off road tracks. Having said all that I use TSDZ8 for commuting as well and it works just fine.

Injuries With Electric vs Conventional Scooters and Bicycles

I think it is safe to assume white people end up in hospitals more often after e-bike related accidents as I have not seen that many black people on e-bikes, but lets study 87k cases and find out for sure. Why not? Now all what we need is adequate funding for our study.

    Hi from occasional ebiker.

If I were you I would just add bigger battery as Seneagle said. 15Ah or even 20Ah would make a massive difference. Cost around £200.

    And todays idiots are

Well... it is true. Drivers/cyclists don't stop even when they see a woman with little children crossing road on zebra crossing. ...after that they will probably open a thread on random forum "Look idiot with kids crossing the road" and include dashcam video.

    And todays idiots are

I gave you the link above, but I will copy/paste relevant fragment for your convenience. Of course nobody ever will advice you to cross the road with eyes closed, but you still can do that and die under truck knowing it was drivers fault.

It is because you don't follow invention log and you are not familiar with whole catapult/ejection system prepared to act in case of early stages of thermal runaway.
