That is ok then. I hope you have smoke alarm there as well, so you have time to react in worst case scenario.

    Never-tackle-an-e-bike-battery-fire-yourself-warns-fire-brigade-after-another-blaze

I am not sure if it is a good idea. Depending on intensity of fire you might be just creating a bomb. It won't protect from toxic smoke anyway... Do you keep it outside?

Great tragedy... Scott is dedicated to raise awareness now. Maybe at some point he will be ready to share more details about battery he bought. Was it a right voltage? Was fast charger used?

Seeking Advice on Affordable Ebike for 20-Mile Daily Commute (£500-£600 = Budget)

When I think about cheap bikes, first thing which comes to my mind is rust. Rust on almost each component. I guess it is because most owners of cheap bikes don't care about them... or anything else for that matter. But also quality of components must contribute to general decay as well. My...

    Bike frame lock

Lock I posted is cheaper than yours and offer better security, so who is naive here? I have nothing against spending money on locks and security. I just pointed out there is no 10% rule. As Seneagle mentioned above, Kryptonite sell locks, so it is in their interest to encourage people to spend...

There is no such rule. You (or somebody else) just made it up.
