    Wisper Wayfarer H7 review

Hi Greb, I completely understand your point regarding navigating those barriers, they are a nightmare! I ride a Wayfarer and in such situations I use the throttle only as 4mph seems to be quite fast enough. If you need an help with your bikes, please let me know. All the best, David

    Wisper Wayfarer H7 review

Hi guys, strangely we have not had any complaints at all regarding the need for brake cut outs from the 1000'a of customers currently riding Wayfarers here in the UK, New Zealand and Europe. They don't tend to be used anymore, as they were a constant problem and unnecessary on bikes with fast...

    Wisper 806 Torque

Regarding the front light, there should be extra wire in the frame, it may just need pulling through. If not please drop me a line and we will help sort it out. The "Slinky" is there to protect the cables being pinched, it should be long enough not to come out at either end. If you are anywhere...

    Wisper 806 Torque

They may have done, this is why we offer a free "safety check". One of the things our dealers will check is the spoke tensions. All the best, David

Help! Can you help me find an E-bike?

Thanks Peter, we also have the Wayfarer that runs a 43V system and is even more powerful than the Tailwind. A great hill climber. At the moment it is on offer due to overstocking at a huge 20% discount from our dealers. (Including Sevenoaks Electrics Bikes!) All the best, David

Battery Weight vs Range... a dilemma

There is another benefit of having a larger capacity battery, that is they will last longer than a lower Wh version. In our experience the larger the capacity the less expensive the battery in the medium to long term. All the best, David

    wisper strange battery issue!

Hi Toddy, sorry but currently, to my knowledge, there is no trade-in available for old batteries, in deed as a provider we have to declare how many batteries we put onto the market and pay a disposal fee for every one we sell. We then pay for the disposal of depleted batteries/battery cells...

    Sevenoaks Electric Bikes

Of course anyone from Pedelecs would be more than welcome to pop in for a coffee and test ride. Our Wisper Wayfarer range is quite unique in that we have two almost identical models. One with mid drive and the other with a hub motor. The hub is 50Nm and the mid is 100Nm so very similar in terms...

    Sevenoaks Electric Bikes

Thanks Az and Tony, We are aiming to be a little different, with our main focus on servicing and technical. Our sales side will consult with customers to advise on the best possible bike to fit their needs rather than sell what's "available now". Due to this slightly different approach we will...

DFT consultation on increase of 250W limit to 500W

*We consider this proposal highly risky for the current e-bike category*, which relies for its success on e-bikes being treated legally as cycles, not as motor vehicles. This may be impossible to sustain if these new rules go through. There are also safety implications and possible unintended...

DFT consultation on increase of 250W limit to 500W

"To amend the legal definition of how EAPCs are classified so that the maximum continuous rated power of the electric motor must not exceed 500 watts." Good point Az... I rushed through this this morning and miss read the above. As long as it is continuous rated power we should be OK. All the...
