It's a great idea, where are the devices hidden?

Does backpedal insure any ebike, for example an illegal ebike with a more powerful power than 250W, do they care? Scant info on their website.

Tried and tested garbage. S2P is still years away.

Don't confuse 3D scanners with photogrammetry, above link is not a 3D scanner but a mechanical aid to take photos of an object that then needs lots of work to stitch together to get anything useable (photogrammetry). True 3D scanners scan using light and give far superior results.

    Best Electric Bike Battery Option

I have 1500W rear hub and went with 52V pack 17.5AH LG branded Halion...£500 from UK importer...18months old and zero issues so far. If they are recycling cells you would assume some knowledge/skill so I find it strange they offer a 5A charger.....makes little sense to me, recycle then kick...

    Best Electric Bike Battery Option

The link to 5A 'charger How Long Does An Electric Bike Battery Last? Explore Benefits of 5A Fast Charger!' doesn't work... Surely that cannot be good for any battery pack?

    Alli Express

Like I said AliExpress is OK for some things. I would buy a hub kit after researching but never a battery.

AliExpress is OK for some things IMHO, for example I have bought quite a few spares for my CR6-SE 3D printer, most recently full hotend spares for £25, crazy cheap (bought two), at least 50% cheaper than most other sources.

    3-D Printer

if it's scanned object to 3D print then good luck as the scanning tech is way behind the 3D printers tech I look forward to being proved wrong....however not in the next 5+ yrs. As I said, it really depends what you're trying to achieve. S2P (scan to print), doesn't really exist yet without...

    3-D Printer

Problem with these 3D scanners is that they don't really work that well and give average results at best unless you spend 6 figures and go with an automotive scanner (JLR do all final car body modelling using clay by hand with highly skilled workers that they then scan to laptops). Depends...

    Illegal ebike crackdown Coventry

Ouch, that dude had a bald head, bald arms and not much clothing on and was landing head first on the island between the lanes...wonder what he looked like afterwards and if he walked away repeating 'it doesn't hurt....it doesn't hurt....'

Cube Bike size advice 5ft 9

You want to feel safe on bike and that you can safely tread ground, I'd probably stick with M as L may feel just too big and ungainly. Only way to be sure though is to find a dealer and try both.

14 Yr Old - Carrera Vengeance Mountain Bike

Had a look at the Vulcan, you are right for just £18 more it looks like a better bike as you said, 120mm forks, hydraulic disc brakes and from the pics looks like a separate brake and shifter! Looks decent in white too!

14 Yr Old - Carrera Vengeance Mountain Bike

Thanks for the replies Funny you mention that, my first thoughts were that the combined brake/gears shifters look cheap. Also the bike in the pic above has the right shifter down button 'missing', it was OK on the bike next to it so it's snapped on the bike I photographed...not instilling a...

Are most people here NOT UK based

That's the thing about cats, even when they're know they're dying they are still incredibly elegant, beautiful, loving creatures. Muffin was 17, one minute she seemed fine then the next she collapsed and fell off her perch in the office beside the radiator. I thought she was messing about but...
