What do you think of my new bike?

The bike reminds me of a WWII motorcycle (not particularly a criticism), not sure why, Steve McQueen might've made it. To me it looks too retro and agree with previous comments a little tank like. I prefer a mountain bike frame, a design classic, what is the driver for internal batteries...

Are most people here NOT UK based

RIP Muffin. x Blonde long-haired Persian peke face, loved that cat... Cried in vets watching her pass on my knee with the death fluid flowing through a clear tube from an injection 20 feet away. Hard. Not been able to get another cat since. One day. She loved to mooch too...

Suggestion that delivery companies should check their riders bikes are legal !!!!!!

I imagine that there are many more pedestrians knocked down every day by diks in Lycra on road bikes frequently going way faster than 15mph. Was in Holburn recently and almost got creamed twice in 5mins, the speed cyclists zoom through the lights are unbelievable...

Only set z on printer, never in slicer else you print will never print on another printer. Sounds like z offset is too low and nozzle is bumping in to layers. If this isn't the case it could be bed adhesion but unlikely with a PEI sheet. Move z offset as granular as you can. I use my...

Meant to say amd64.exe can be confusing, AMD64 is the name sometimes given to 64 bit drivers since it was AMD that developed the first 64 bit specification for microprocessors. Intel adapted that specification and Microsoft uses: x86 for 32 bit AMD64 or x64 for 64 bit IA64 for Iridium based...

The link works however it's in chronological order of releases so most recent at top of page, SCROLL DOWN for the 4.13.1 release or just search the page (CTRL+F) for it.... I'm using it now on Win7 laptop, try 4.13.1, just run the .exe and installer should remove older version first. Setup a...

Would you trust a cheap battery charger off of (say) ebay?

I think he wants to know if you live near him in case you burn your house down....:) There are loads of chargers, for example, 58.8V 2A/3A/4A available for approx £30. I wouldn't be touching what you got for £6.99 with a bargepole, bin it.

Cura 4.13.1: https://github.com/Ultimaker/Cura/releases?page=2 Expand the [Assets] tab to see the .exe Windows installer - install this. I just upgraded from 4.10.0 to 4.13.1 on Win7 Mackbook Pro until I have some time to mess on my Win10 workstation to get 5.x working.

I use mainly Cura 4.1.0.0 as 5.x won't run on my Win7 laptop. I have Prusa slicer too and used it in past but prefer Cura. Cura 4.x should install OK on your Win10 PC. https://github.com/Ultimaker/Cura/releases

And when you need these parts your printer is down so not printing for days/weeks? I have spares for most of my CR6 SE and have replaced most of it apart from power supply over past cpl yrs. Have at least one of most important stuff, two of some, main boards, daughter boards, full hotend kit...

That Bambu X1 is a lovely printer however you can see where the money has gone, inbuilt camera, enclosure, multiple spool capability, large touchsceen etc., I certainly wouldn't say no to one however couldn't really justify spending that amount of cash when you don't need to. And when you get...

That's a good price for a new FDM printer, looks like a nice machine and has ABL! I nearly bought an Elegoo Mars resin printer cpl yrs back for printing 1:32 slot car bodies, managed to talk myself out of it though due to the hassle of the chemicals involved. Let us know how you get on with...

I print a benchy with every new colour role of filament I buy for two reasons, 1st so I have a colourway swatch for future reference and 2nd to make sure no issues with the PLA as benchies are designed to be basic stress tests and print the more trickier aspects such as overhangs, compound...

An old smartphone and a cheapo mini tripod running IP Camera allows you to monitor prints remotely, pretty useful, it even turns your camera flash LED on/off remotely so you can see in the dark as well as audio if you want to shout at it...!
