Just leave the Intuvia on. When the battery is flat it will reset. Simple.. There's no rest button on the Intuvia. That tiny hole is for the mounting screw to hold it fixed in place. We can reset it using dealer diagnostics. But it is not needed if you run the internal battery flat on the head...

Hi, As per our previous emails. Any faulty unit will be held by Bosch and replaced. Therefore their is not really and units available to buy on the market second hand. Contact the place of purchase and organise a return to Germany. Regards Martin

Hi, Yes you can insert with the key removed. The first click comes from the battery engaging with the clamp, the second click comes from the lock itself snapping into position. Its just one big click on the Classic+ system. Regards Martin

On the Active line, the battery fits real snug. You really have to push hard on new model and listen for the satisfying click noise to ensure it is locked in place. The Active line can make 2 click noises when pushing on the battery, its the second one you are listening for... Push harder...

The latest updfate does offer smoother power delivery / torque. It also upp's the walk assit a little and refines other small user errors reported. Give it a go, nothing to loose by keeping it up-to-date. Regards Martin

Hi, Their is a rubber plug that covers the small allen key bolt holding it to the chain stay. If the casing is cracked it would be good practice to have this replaced. It at least puts it back to factory and rules it out. Regards Martin

503 is the speed sensor. I would suggest to unplug the speed sensor within the motor. Clean the terminals allow to dry and re-insert. As its Error 503 I am presuming it is a Active / Performance system. Not a Classic+ Line. Also check the speed sensor itself for any damage. It doesn't matter...

Blew It, The 'Perform Software update' is not just to do with the torque, its to change the values of the assistance among many other things. You can get the 2013/2014 Intuvia working with the older 2012 system no problem with a Diagnostic Scan. We can re-flash the motor software to cope...
