    Intuvia without reset button

Just leave the Intuvia on. When the battery is flat it will reset. Simple.. There's no rest button on the Intuvia. That tiny hole is for the mounting screw to hold it fixed in place. We can reset it using dealer diagnostics. But it is not needed if you run the internal battery flat on the head...

Need new Bosch head unit (old version)

Hi Tor, I understrand you have picked one up now. But just in case there were any issues I thought I would let you know we have them back in stock. Bosch themselves had sold out, hence why I had also run out here for a while. Martin

Bosch battery problem. Is me or the bike?

Arstu, I am here to give advice. I dont get paid to sit on the forum, I choose to help others out of my own time. It appears that different manufacturers have been using different mechanisms. In my experience I have seen both 'Abus' and 'Trelock' lock mechanicms on different bikes. Who knows...

Bosch battery problem. Is me or the bike?

Hi, Yes you can insert with the key removed. The first click comes from the battery engaging with the clamp, the second click comes from the lock itself snapping into position. Its just one big click on the Classic+ system. Regards Martin

    Electric bike blog spam?

Hi Halfer, I have exactly the same problem with this shop trying to jump on my blog posts too with un related spam and back links. It started a few weeks back. Its a real shame, I do however have a filter on which holds them comments for approval. That said it is frustrating to log in to...

Haibike SL29 pedals spinning no chain movement

Hi Tim, Correct about the internal drive not engaging. This is not common, but can occur, it should not happen on a new bike. Get it sorted as it will only get more prominent. Its nothing to do with Haibike. The dealer you bought it from will return the motor to Bosch for replacement to get...

Bosch battery problem. Is me or the bike?

On the Active line, the battery fits real snug. You really have to push hard on new model and listen for the satisfying click noise to ensure it is locked in place. The Active line can make 2 click noises when pushing on the battery, its the second one you are listening for... Push harder...

    Bosch firmware update

The latest updfate does offer smoother power delivery / torque. It also upp's the walk assit a little and refines other small user errors reported. Give it a go, nothing to loose by keeping it up-to-date. Regards Martin

    Bosch speed sensor fault code

Both the crank arm and motor caisng will need to be removed to access the live end. Maybe a job for your dealer? Martin

    Bosch speed sensor fault code

Hi, This is a good thing if Zero is showing as it means the system is still detecting the speed sensor. So therefore I would forget the head unit cleaning, it will now be down to the speed sensor not reading the magnet itself. Is it a standard Bosch magnet? It needs to be aligned with the...

    Bosch speed sensor fault code

Hi, Their is a rubber plug that covers the small allen key bolt holding it to the chain stay. If the casing is cracked it would be good practice to have this replaced. It at least puts it back to factory and rules it out. Regards Martin

    Bosch speed sensor fault code

503 is the speed sensor. I would suggest to unplug the speed sensor within the motor. Clean the terminals allow to dry and re-insert. As its Error 503 I am presuming it is a Active / Performance system. Not a Classic+ Line. Also check the speed sensor itself for any damage. It doesn't matter...

Bosch HMI, changing from Kilometers to Miles...accidentally.

Blew It, The 'Perform Software update' is not just to do with the torque, its to change the values of the assistance among many other things. You can get the 2013/2014 Intuvia working with the older 2012 system no problem with a Diagnostic Scan. We can re-flash the motor software to cope...
