Hi there, The Metal Bosch spider lock nut was used on the 2011/2012 system. It was replaced with the plastic ring as Bosch found users applying too much torque on the ring. You only need the plastic one, if removed/fitted correctly using the Bosch spider tool it will remain un-damaged...
