Hi Morrison, No the 2014 FS SL is a 300w battery pack at that price. The FSAM does however have the 400wh pack if you are after a full-suss. At the same price point is the RC 29 which does feature the bigger battery although a hardtail. Remember you can always put the bigger battery in...

    cycle computer apps?

Hi Clockwise, The most popular app is mapmyride, although the most upcoming at the moment is strava. I personally use sports tracker as I like the way it displays data after the ride. Although any of these apps will give you the basic functions of a cycle computer. Trip Distance, Lap time, etc...

    Grace MX or Haibike Enduro

Soooo Jack Handy basically what you are saying is it is very well made for the conditions it is designed for ;) Remember if you are buying a off-roader to use on the road. Firstly your mad! :) Secondly the front sprocket can be changed to a bigger one for around 30quid. Regards Martin

    Grace MX or Haibike Enduro

Tim - Don't quite know where the models you suggested come from? They are both urban commuter style bikes with the rack, mudguards etc. If he is comparing the Grace and the Haibike (Both serious off-roaders) he is clearly not looking at this style of bike you suggested? Are you sure you read...

Why Bosch Motors should not be under swung on eMTB's..

Why Bosch Motors should not be under swung on eMTB's..

Hi Flecc, The units are begin opened on occasion as some models have created a clicking noise under pressure. This is because the grease initially installed on the floating bearing is being dispersed on some users models. Therefore the clicking is the floating bearing moving and making a metal...

Why Bosch Motors should not be under swung on eMTB's..

Most of this was in the motor housing as opposed to in the actual motor gearing. Although there was some mud/grit actually in there. It all buckles down to the inverted motor. Its above the frame so much more resistant to knocks / being splattered constantly with mud and water. In fact...

    Cycle schemes

Tillson, You are right the scheme has changed slightly where you have to the buy-back at the end of the period. Although not as good a saving as before its still a decent saving when using the scheme to its full potential. Why not use the savings calculator here - How much can I save? -...

Why Bosch Motors should not be under swung on eMTB's..

Hi Guys, Just come to fix the famous knocking noise / grinding on a Bosch motor this morning. I am used to working on nice clean motor internals with the inverted mounted Bosch drives. Couldn't believe what I found when I opened this one up.. I understand for town / commuter /...

Hi PhilX, Yes you are correct, the legal limit is 200w on a normal bike and 250w on a tandem, however rumours that the legislations is due to change in 2016 have arose. The manufacturers have been producing ebikes with the 250w motors for a while now. With a blind eye being turned from the...
