I have signed out and back in again. Still getting the same lack of icons on all three of my devices.
Not the end of the world I suppose but just annoying.
Thanks for your patience guys.
I am using many different forums and not having any trouble with any of them.
Hover - click - double click - right click - left click all bring the same oval icon showing a "like" or a "happy face". Certainly nothing like I used to have before the site was altered. :(
My laptop, tablet and PC all show the same issue.
Edit
Now I see Flecc agrees with the familiar green...
Thank you for the prompt reply but doing that gives me only a "happy" or a "like" option.
Agree, informative etc (from memory) is not available.
Someone correct me as necessary but was there not a selection of icons to express like, dislike, agree, informative etc which could be added to posts?
If there were and I am not over 90% senile could someone tell me where they are now please?
My bicycle was the only independence I had in the 50s and 60s. Mother would never let me out on it on a Sunday in those days and I never got to find out why.
Needless to say if a similar accident had happened here as sadly did in London the outcome would have been considerably different so perhaps the salutary advice would be no illegal e-bikes anywhere :(
We are in the mire here in N.I. for various reasons but when registration has previously been suggested I for one (of many to whom I have spoken) totally against the slippery slope as we would effectively be accepting e-bikes as mopeds / motorbikes and being banned from cycle lanes, tow paths...
Mirroring the current frightening situation in Northern Ireland.
Yet again I spoke to two e-bike riders locally in the last week. I had never met them before but both suggested that they are very careful and the dealer who supplied both bikes apparently told them that as nobody had as yet been...
Boring though it might be I have to say that if that accident had happened here the e-bike, redistricted or otherwise would have been illegal, hence our decision not to use ours.
Because of my history of being competitive in a past life with EXUPs, Fireblades and 888s etc I was certainly no angel however when I read so much on this forum about guys attempting to uprate their e-bikes to be competitive I suddenly felt very old and therefore decided not to voice any adverse...
Dreading hearing this but doubtless the bike, if indeed it has been recovered will now be subject to severe scrutiny regarding any "modifications".
Many differing views as to who was to blame but I can sense a bit of knee jerking building momentum.
Again I must ask for support ( understanding)...
Re # 113.
I would still be interested if anyone in that area or with local news access has any info about the injuries and indeed the recovery progress of both people.
Has there been any action taken by relevant authorities?
Can anyone with access to local news in the area of this accident update us as to the recovery progress of the injured lady or indeed the extent of hers and the cyclist's injuries?
Thanks
Ted.
I've ticked "like" and that was because I would "like" to be free from irreparable body damage caused by incompetent management decisions.
Given the chance I would now gladly make him eat my blue badge.
So utterly careful for so many years then the stark realisation that my leg wasn't actually...
