Petition to legalizing throttle only eBikes for the disabled

My best friend** where I live is a copper in the Met, so I just hate all the rest of them. :) ** He joined the police after we first became friends so he's excused. .

Petition to legalizing throttle only eBikes for the disabled

Silly is what happens when laws are modified with insufficient due consideration. The stumbling block here is the difference between Type Approval and Single Vehicle approval. Under EU pedelec law, also now UK law as ruled by the Great Repeal Bill, bureacracy free pedelecs are only permitted...

Petition to legalizing throttle only eBikes for the disabled

Yes, but only when an existing used bicycle is converted. However this is only a lax DfT interpretation, so only applicable in Great Britain. In the mainland EU a strict interpretation of EU law might well disagree. .

    1st Build With Reclaimed Batteries

Rubbish, no-one has to pay as BonzoBanana has shown. It is an option that most of us prefer to take. BBC Studios does not make a profit from the licence fee. As part of the BBC Group all the money goes back into the BBC to the tune of well over a billion every year. Internally it's just paper...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Gavin Barwell is a slimy creep who would do or believe anything to get advancement. And he was only made a Lord following PM Theresa May making him her advisor after him perhaps being the largest electoral failure the tories have ever suffered, losing a close marginal seat by over 10,000...

I'm not stopping you doing that and not paying for a licence, so why are you so against those like me who do want to to pay and access the Beeb? .

    Server move

Mine too, but several times last night couldn't access pedelecs on either w10 or w7 broadband. Anywhere else ok. .

    1st Build With Reclaimed Batteries

I've told you that independent TV has consistently stolen people and shows from the BBC over very many years. They haven't moved for less money, they moved for more, just like the latest two I quoted. You can go back as far as the 1950s and '60s when ITV and ATV poached Benny Hill from the BBC...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Not really, sales have been mininal. Even now the "booming" EV sales are a tiny fraction of the former near two million cars we once bought each year. After 12 years of sales we still only have 0.6 million battery e-cars. Mainstream e-cars from £30k to £50k will never match the sales of...

    1st Build With Reclaimed Batteries

Around a quarter of the BBC's revenue comes from its commercial subsidiary BBC Studios (formerly BBC Worldwide), which sells BBC programmes and services internationally and also distributes the BBC's international 24-hour English-language news services BBC World News, and from BBC.com, provided...

    1st Build With Reclaimed Batteries

£226 million of profit is under 5% of what the BBC currently needs to run. I repeat, they have no hope of ever being a commercial broadcaster, without abandoning what they are suppose to do under their charter. .

    1st Build With Reclaimed Batteries

They dont pay excessively but do have to compete. Independent TV pays far more, that's how they always steal every good program idea the Beeb have. Bake off was the latest one, a copy show with the two main presenters, Paul Hollywood and Mary Berry, bribed away for far more money from both pay...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Not just possible, it is the answer that all cars are scarce here as well, there just aren't enough to go round. Production has slumped for several years now for the following reasons: First the VW emissions fiddling scandal caused a big crackdown on manufacturers. Instead of a set standard...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

We should have splashed out on 20 cars each in 2020 when the prices were low and so were the interest rates. As a pensioner can't complain though, just learnt that 22% of pensioners are classed as millionaires** but only 15% are in poverty. ** They are probably the ones walking home from...

Shortage of cars to survive, probably due to too many in the same business now. They are still pestering me every day with headings like "We really want to buy your Nissan". I've long stopped keeping count but it's over 30 mailings now. .

    Trailer hitch for e-bikes

The car tie rod end would probbly be rather heavy, but the top one looks like it could be ideal. I doubt you'll be mimicking Moto GP lean angles when towing a trailer! ;) .

    Trailer hitch for e-bikes

The original steel ball and the matching cup came on a cheap French small trailer I spotted in a cycle discounter (CycleKing). But when I needed a second ball for the other bike, scouting around I found a a bottle top on a discarded scent bottle that was a neat sphere of solid plastic, so I...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Yet: Shell is considering exiting its home energy retail businesses in Britain, the Netherlands and Germany in the wake of "tough market conditions". They have also been considering pulling out of some North Sea exploration, though that is now being reconsidered. Seems we are only good for...
