    Carrera E Vengeance - Bafang BFSWX02 36V250W (12) & S866

Wrong. P07 should be set to 100 for his motor not 1 or 6.

Try pedalling backwards. If that works then set C1 to 5, 6 or 7.

    Carrera E Vengeance - Bafang BFSWX02 36V250W (12) & S866

I can help with some of it. Your motor has 20 magnets and a reduction ratio of 5:1, so P07 should be set to 100

Yeah, I think the cross hatching on the drawing indicates the flats.

    Help! Street Machine GT conversion

Maybe it does. I’ve just had a look again and some of the photos indicate that it has flats, but they are low resolution. So it could be good to go. The technical drawing doesn’t show the dimensions for the flats. It should say 12mm x 10 mm

    Help! Street Machine GT conversion

One thing I’ve noticed is that AKM motor doesn’t have any flats on the motor shaft. Which is probably ok if you want to run at 250 watts, but if you intend to booost the power then you won’t be able to use any torque washers or torque arms on it

Another vulnerable component is the flimsy wheel speed sensor. I don’t know how I haven’t managed to break mine yet.

Help! BBS02 Build help advice needed

I didn’t fit a gear sensor because I kept reading it was too sluggish, but that may just be hearsay. And I have taped up the connector inside the wiring loom now and I don’t want to redo all of that lot again. I should have pulled it out of the main loom and sealed it off separately. I...

Help! BBS02 Build help advice needed

Just remember to use your gears with a mid drive motor. If you leave it in a high gear all of the time the high torque causes too much stress on the motor and drive train and will damage the nylon motor gears. Also try to throttle back and ease off the peddling when changing gear otherwise you...

Help! e-City Bike/Coyote Connect Repair - Motor probably gone

The only way that you can test it at home to find out what’s going on is to use a multimeter to check the various voltages coming in and out of the controller and feeding the various peripherals like battery, throttle, pas and hall sensors. Then you can start to make some sense of what is going on.

He probably means he couldn’t find a nice fit on the brake cylinder and levers on your M2 brakes for the magnets and hall sensors. They can be a pain to set up properly because there aren’t many nice flat surfaces to stick them to. I used hot glue for the magnets because the double sided sticky...

    Problem with throttle

I think a KT24 controller coupled with an LCD03 or maybe a cheaper LCD05 display will be a good replacement. Here are a couple of links to a reputable UK dealer. Although you can get them cheaper from other sellers on ebay/Amazon. Controller...

    Problem with throttle

It could be repaired, but the cost and hassle involved means that it may be better to buy a new controller and possibly a new display. You haven’t said what make the controller, display and motor are. If you can find out the information and maybe post a few photos, someone will be able to...

    Problem with throttle

It is possible that the fault with the wiring that occurred requiring the phase wire connectors to be changed has damaged the controller. The voltage supply to the throttle should only be +5 volts (Red to Black). You are reading 19.79 volts which is way too high. This means the voltage on the...

Deliveroo / Uber Eats rider on a Eskuta

Yeah, it needs the throttle hack as well as the white wire modification. I have never seen a delivery rider use their pedals except on the video I posted. They aren’t out there to get exercise, they do it to earn a living.
