I have found the perfect bike to put my BBS02 750W on BUT it has a 73mm bottom bracket. I know I can use locking compound instead of the locknut and longer bolts and spacers for the left hand bracket but was worried about the chainline. My current Apollo Evade jumps over the teeth in the 3 top...

Why not keep it as it is for the flat stuff and use your BBS bike for hilly/distance rides. I have my BBS for hills and trails and my Dillenger for flatter stuff to the south of here and also a Raliegh standard MTB for when I feel fit enough to do some real pedal work(not very often yet!)..

No lube would be as good as the original as its put onto a perfectly clean surface. You could re lube if you wanted but you should always clean the chain well as any particles of grit left on would turn your new lube into grinding paste. When I lube the chain on my Dillenger bike I always take...

I dont bulk charge mine at the moment because I only have 2 x 16Ah Multistars and 2 chargers so its easy enough to just use them. I charge them as Li-Io rather than LiPo so they stop charging at 4.1V per cell rather than 4.2 as this will increase the cycle life of them. I use the "fast" charge...

I replace the chain every 3 months so dont need to lube it as the original lube lasts that long. Its only £16 a year which is nothing compared to the cost of sprockets if you wear them out with a worn chain and of course the inconvienience of a snapped chain just does not bear thinking about!

You order one with the voltage you require. As long as you have balance charged your pack a few times and it stays in balance then you can do as you suggest and maybe use this through the week then balance charge on a weekend.
