I think you only make that mistake once? I always have 2 spare tubes, pump and basic tools. That's not all I have to carry though! My wife insists on a small medical kit, eye drops, sun cream, lip balm, indigestion tabs.... the list goes on and on!
Magnus, I got 2 puntures in the first week. I think the supplied inner tubes are very thin. I replaced mine with heavy duty tubes and haven't had a problem since.
Forest of Dean last week. we'd just done 18 miles and this was the last bit of the run. My wife leading us out..
Sorry about the water on the screen. I'll have to remember to clean the lens in future.
To me the price I paid for mine was worth it. Its a hobby with massive benefits. I'm fitter and lost a few kilo's in the few months I've owned it. I hadn't been using my non assist mountain bike as much (maybe once a fortnight) because it was such hard work on the trails around here. I'm out 2...
This video reminds me of The Prodigy's 'smack my bitch up' vid. It would have been funny if, at the end, the camera turns round to show a 90 year old granny had been riding the bike!
I don't know what the problem is here with the pedals? When I bought my bike I asked the shop to put some pedals on 'cause I was going to try the bike out on my way home. They were the cheapest pair (my guess £2.50 trade?) but I don't blame them at all. No charge for them. I'm happy. They knew...
You have the same dilema as I did. Xduro allmtn rc or Sduro. I chose the Yamaha because I've had their moto x bikes in the past and was always happy with them. The battery doesn't seem to be an issue as I run out of power before it does! But all my use is off road. It might be different using...
If you look at the photo of my bike, you'll just make out one of the clip on mudguards that attach to the seat. You can buy one for the front too. £5 or £6 each. They work ok.
Croft used to be a killer on our non assisted bikes! It used to take about an hour to get round there having to stop a few times to recover. It would take about 15 minutes now!
Next door neihbour bought a Cube Bosche and to me it sounded a bit noisier than mine. His was brand new when I tried it. Mine seems to be quieter now its done 150 miles?
I must add that they are both really quiet. Noisey is too harsh a word!
I chose Yamaha because I used to race them in moto x, so like the brand. I chose Haibike after reading so much info on all the available bikes. I chose a shop that was within a shortish drive as they are only guarenteed (parts replacement) at the shop you buy from. Because of this I wouldn't...
I'd guess you should have 20-30% power left at the end of your ride. I tend to put mine on the lowest setting for downhill and flat but don't bother turning it off.
Have a great day, let us know how you got on and post some pics in the other thread.
