Im very happy with my yose-power conversion, they sell 20" front wheels and kits but on their site they seem out of stock.. this amazon seller seems to have some? but only in a kit for £190..

Need New Front Wheel with Motor

Have you considered rebuilding the wheel yourself with a new rim and spokes, there are a ton of 5min-longer youtube vids on the subject and the special tools needed (a spoke spanner) are cheap. Spoke sizing is the tricky part, wheel rims can have differing depths affecting the optimum spoke...

Probably cheaper and a lot easier to knock out a specialised battery exit vent..

    Hi from Fleet, Hampshire

Ah so it has its un-'moment'ums then, ;) It sure stretched the foot and ankle tendons when pushing yer bike up it ;) Thankfully i can elect to take the hill down on the way into the city and return a slightly more staged climb in 2 more manageable and longer runs. even tho my bike can climb it...

    Adding handlebar battery control

Probably the cheapest easiest additional button to add would be a single membrane button they generally come with an adhesive back and could be stuck on the end of a handlebar cap feeding wires/connection inside the bars?

    Hi from Taunton

Nice Bikes are the best thing to park up and lock up next to,, the casual opportunist with an angle grinder will overlook your bike in most cases ;) Also let your bike haul you up a few more hills you would normally glow red pedalling up without assistance and appreciation for your own humble...

    Adding handlebar battery control

?I dont know your bike or its system.. But if you have access to the button your pressing to turn on and cycle through modes with, And its a basic momentary contact switch? If you can solder wires to each of its legs(the button), running up a wire to the handlebars to be connected to a 2nd...

60 or 80Nm front hub motor

As long as no real time output to display is needed. Very little coding if none at all required to capture data and broadcast it with existing tech frameworks. there are a few configurable f/w systems for popular esp8266/32 socs. Im most familiar with tasmota which will host a web server of...

Hoping to increase driver passing distance at night, I've glued front and rear reflectors to my wing mirrors.

Seems to me that loose wheel was on a safe trajectory until some idiot on an ebike kicked it!!

60 or 80Nm front hub motor

Just monitor the motor temperature(touch test should suffice) , struggling up hills and requiring a little more pedal input is what gravity is all about. as long as your climbing and not dropping below 8mph for too long on the steep bits and at the top all should be good...

    Magnet relocate for smart trainer

then move the sensor or spend a £ or so on an additional one as suggested above. It would help if you stopped being so cagey about what you want to do.. i doubt anyone will give a toss if your trying to 'Donald Trump' the online trainer rankings, few in here are lycra sympathetic ;)..

    Magnet relocate for smart trainer

Or to bridge a gap?? use tape and thick cardboard to stand the magnet off further.. the foam sheets used in packing make fine padding/spacers.. or use a stack of magnets, what size gap needs bridging? 5x 4mm thick magnets would bridge 2cm.. a hot glue stand off?? a drop of isopropanol...

    Magnet relocate for smart trainer

? Still no wiser? perhaps if you post pics with a wider view of both bike and trainer? name/ id the bike and trainer too and provide links to specs if possible. Generally magnets on wheels tend to feed speed sensors which will come into play on a rd legal bike at 15.5mph to cut off any motor...

    Magnet relocate for smart trainer

Think? op wants to use an ebike and the already fitted pas/speed? sensor magnet to trigger the trainer sensor? why not just add a 2nd magnet with a drop of superglue? or blu-tak if you prefer a temporary only when training measure?

    Help with conversion kit choice

Hope its not the same advert-articles google force fed me when first browsing the ebike subject thats framing your preference? I certainly started my search for a solution with the idea that hub drives were less than thanks to google.. Just weigh up the extra drive train maintenance and...

KT Brompton kits PAS configuration help please!

    Help with conversion kit choice

I fitted a yose-power all in one rear wheel kit (see icon) early summer 2023, and it still brings a smile to my sad ol face at the foot of every local slope and hill.. Plenty of torque or Oomph to pull me ( 90+kg) along with a full load returning from tesco etc.. The basic cadence pas takes a...
