Guys, i've been checking on some motorbike forum what they think about my need and it seems that leaving a scooter outside at night is a no go.... and it will either be stolen, damaged or used as spare part. Insurance would also be a killer in my area.. I've purchased this axiom flip flop...

22 miles commute... which setup is best?

Yeah, a 50c would have similar performance to a bpm. And if I'm thinking to use a DD rather than the bpm for silence and reliability. i'm having all the equipement for electric bike, so I'd prefer going by ebike. Electric moped could have been an option if I had more space (let say a...

    Touring: battery charging questions

I think the best option is to have a spare battery. That would really simplify your life and charging in 1 hour isn't going to give you significant charge anyway. and you always need a spare one if one fail, and you'd be able to go faster than eco mode. Just get one from ebay

How to add "pockets" to my battery?

Hello, I'd like to add "pockets" on each side of my battery: The idea is to have about 50-60 cells more on each of the side as displayed above. So a total of 150 cells. This box has the benefit to be quite secure on the bike and no one ever tried to steal it. I wonder what's the best way to...

    Ebike frame + waterproof case.

I'd recommend on your battery pack to have at least some plastic sheet between each string of cells in parallel because your bike is in a vibration prone environment and if glue looses over time you risk to have a big short! Too bad can't get 200 cells. I'm definitely interested but I have...
