Carry a passenger on my bike

It would be quite lightweight. About 130kg for 2 people I think. So it shouldn't break?

Carry a passenger on my bike

Hello all, I very often miss the ability to carry passenger when I go out... not fun when other are taking the tube while I cycle out.... I thought about this: Weld another tube to the seat tube and add a motorbike seat to the bike. What do you think?

    Need ebike stealthyness ideas

yes, I'd like to do that but to match frame curve I'd need to do some molding. I'll have to think about it but not sure it'll be a solution. for the secobd point, can you give example of waterproof cloth? something like 600D fabric?

not sure how it would work. It's a folding bike so anything on the rear would become a hindrance to the fold

Jerry yes I have 2 brompton. 1 with mini-DD and other one with the mac. But mac motor is down so I'm using my spare brompton I do not want to always have a backpack, it would be really annoying. :/ And yes, many people told me it wasn't so pretty on the frame.... and prefered the version on...

    Need ebike stealthyness ideas

I'd like to find idea maybe to wrap it clean? I'm using vinyl carbon fiber for the battery box, but for the triangle part (with controller and 12V adapter) I'd need some sort of cover. Carbon fiber would be too weak on this area... anything to cover this part without having it torned down...

    Need ebike stealthyness ideas

I moved it out of the bag for better handling. Bike is much more stable now, especially when I go a bit faster. I really don't want to move it back to the brompton front bag.

how easy is it to make an E bike out of a conversion kit?

I'm now only considering cylindrical cells for their flexibility. I can shape them to the bike form factor, get the exact capacity I need and I KNOW what are the cells used in the pack as I've tested them. I'd only consider bottle or ready made battery pack if I seriously lack time. The...

how easy is it to make an E bike out of a conversion kit?

there is a little slider where you can adjust the amount of "throttle" (or pedalling) you would use. Just have a play around and see how many AH you need. Ultimately, if you're a good enough cyclist, you don't need any AH  ps: I never used any bottle battery so can't advise on it

how easy is it to make an E bike out of a conversion kit?

I think your main budget will be on the battery. You can check on the simulator to estimate how much you would need: ebikes.ca Hub Motor and Ebike Simulator Compare either a BPM36V500W or EzeeV2(26") motor and a 36V20AH battery. You'll see you can achieve about 32 miles distance no pedaling at...
