do members use there ebikes much at this time of year not work related

Don't tempt me. If I had the money spare I would, if only to try to generate some income for the bike shop. :) It might have worked well for me today though. :) There already! A fitting title for today's short ride on the Ultra 1964. It was a choice of stay at home whining about a bad back...

do members use there ebikes much at this time of year not work related

Certainly different to here in Crowborough Benjahmin. I'm just about to head off for a ride on the Ultra 1964 pedal bike, in heavy rain and sleet. :( Has to be done. :) I also popped into my friends bike shop this morning to pick up the latest copy of Singletrack magazine, and the bastid has...

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

I wouldn't say lazy or missing out. Full suspension is a bit of a waste of time at this time of year. All that you do is create unnecessary maintenance, cost and hassle. A hard tail is far better for muddy winter use.

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

Coming from Crowborough, I tend to head out from the Willingdon, Alfriston, or Ditchling area. SRS is probably the closest, off road riding forum member to where you are. My rear suspension goodie bag arrived today. I forgot to order it! Time to crack back on again with the service work. :)...

    Bosch nyon head unit

Nah, I just based it upon a predication, that given how often the topic of problems with Nyon crops up on here, that I would be the one to cop it come an Ebay sale. That would be the way that my luck would run. :( My Nyon is actually brand new, supplied direct from Bosch with the latest...

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

Welcome Darren. :) There are several of us that ride independently of each other on the SD. I try to get down there as much as possible, but as you are aware, conditions haven't exactly been too favourable of late. This is a typical ride.

remove speed limit completely bosch gen 2

I guess that if you are already transforming it it into a motorbike, then you might just as well go all of the way.

    Bosch nyon head unit

Sell it and be done with it. :) Not before I list mine though. ;) I've held off listing mine on Ebay, as I suspect that it has the potential to be a nightmare. Perhaps I'm over thinking it, but in my head, someone will buy it, I'll post it, they fit it, and then the problems begin when it...

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

I think that everything changed for me, 17 years ago when my daughter was born. I get within ten feet of a drop these days, and I get that horrible feeling go up through the legs. Two years running, I've bigged up doing the via ferrata at Murren, and two years running have walked down to the 48...

do members use there ebikes much at this time of year not work related

Nah, I just like to set targets. Well actually it is more a challenge as someone has narked me by openly saying that e-bikes make you fat and lazy. I want to blast their pedal mileage for this year into the weeds, and intend what ever they complete. Petty I know, but as I find that the more...

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

This one had my hands and feet sweating the first time that I watched it, and also kind of links to what is below it. The clip carries on past the end credits. Via Instagram, I've been having brief contact with an e-mtb rider from Switzerland, and this has lead to me wanting him to take me...

What bike is best for learning the Knowledge of London (black cab) on?

This is something else to think about, and is probably out of date now. Tfl: Average traffic speeds are less than 20 mph in London Transport for London's latest figures state that for the first quarter of 2011/2012 the average traffic speed on major London roads for the 12 hours between 7am to...

    SLIME......

I'm with SW on this one. Tubeless is the way to go for off road use. From my experience Stans No tubes proved to be rubbish, and balled up into an elastic mess within just a few months of use. Very disappointing, but it did seal some quite severe flint cuts when first installed. My choice...
