do members use there ebikes much at this time of year not work related

I'm generally out three nights a week riding off road, and then one weekend ride, on either Sat or Sun. My target mileage for this year riding off road is 4,000 miles. I managed in the region of just over 3,000 miles last year.

Panasonic hub motor capability, as fitted to KTM e-bikes

The Panasonic bike is strictly a fair weather, chilled pleasure bike only. :) Which is sadly why I have ridden it twice so far. I'm looking forward to actually getting some decent weather.

Panasonic hub motor capability, as fitted to KTM e-bikes

Artstu, this is the spec. :) Rob, I have no idea of how the efficiency compares to the Bosch, and that is with me owning a Bosch powered bike. I can only judge by my own experience, and the Macina Lycan is very much set up for off road use, and even the tyres take a massive toll on the...

Panasonic hub motor capability, as fitted to KTM e-bikes

I was going to put efficiency in place of capability, but efficiency sounds too misleading, and whilst I often see it listed, I don't find it correct. The sun was shining this morning, and with the Macina Lycan pulled down to service it, I decided to take the KTM e-Race P out for a ride today...

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

£40.00 cheaper than that. :) http://www.flidistribution.co.uk/parts-accessories/bearing-kits/ktm-bark-lycan-bearing-kit The rear mech hangers are also £9.00 cheaper. £25.00 for a Haibike hanger excluding the fixing, compared to £16.00 including the fixing. Someone knows how to charge. Just on...

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

Glad that you sorted it. :) I hadn't really realised just how worn that my suspension linkages were until this afternoon, when I removed the rear shock. The talcum powder fine sandy soil here when mixed with water, makes possibly the best grinding paste ever. To top it all, it also highly...

    KTM MACINA FORCE 29

Tektro are usually fine, and the Tektro brakes fitted to my KTM e-Race P are superb, as were the ones fitted to my old BH. I'd suspect that the pad squeal etc was simply down to contamination of pad material. I initially felt the same with mine, but then I sat back and thought that the front...

Is £800 enough money to spend on an everyday ride to work bike.

Glad that you didn't mention St Austell brewery, and Tribute. :(

Reasonably priced could sound even better. :) KD, that last sentence is interesting "most customers want straight trading" One of my pet hates is certain 'reasonably priced' bikes, being sold and described as mtb's. This description couldn't be further from the truth, and the bikes would call...

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

You are doing well then. At least you can now check and put some air in your forks. :) My bike already has a front ctd remote from new, and oddly I was outside fiddling around with it earlier today. I've never found the need to touch it, and it had seized up. .

Is £800 enough money to spend on an everyday ride to work bike.

Oxygen bikes are the one that I consider to be way off the mark price wise. I'd sooner walk than pay 1.6k for this http://www.oxygenbicycles.com/e-bikes/oxygen-mtb-x I for one think that the market for sub 1k e-bikes is a very beneficial one. Whilst component quality might not be on par with...

How come you didn't already have a shock pump?

    Childrens Pedlec

Artstu, I was telling the lads at BikeGoo just this very morning about the above girl. :) We were discussing cyclocross. :)

    Bosch Nyon 426 error

With the previous issue here http://www.pedelecs.co.uk/forum/threads/bosch-nyon-problem-anyone-help.23230/ and now this, I'd suggest taking back to the dealer to look at.

Nealh, when the weather gets better, we will have to meet up mid way for a spin or coffee. :) My ride tonight wasn't so great. With the e-mtb being serviced, I popped out on the KTM Ultra 1964 pedal bike, and unfortunately mid way through the evenings ride, I had the chain snap! It couldn't...

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

My set up works just fine for my use, but having said that, I've not really used the 42T as much as I thought that would. It will come into it's own in July though, with the next Swiss trip. :) I meant to add this one yesterday. Paperwork beckons tonight, so no playing this evening. I would...

Only just fitted this before Xmas. It does everything that I need. :) Seeing that photo again though, I must fit the new disc that been in the back of the cupboard for months!
