Electric Bike Battery Repairs Re Fits & upgrades.

And there was me thinking this was a..... Do you have any bailing twine to hold my Haibike together thread. Very disappointed. :( Not as disappointed as a full suspension Haibike owner might be though. ;) .

    NEC show

I'd tried to blank that one from my memory when I reviewed the e-Cross P. Not a good design of control console, and one which is going to annoy the hell out of me. If the motor and power delivery are as good on the e-Race as they were on the e-Cross, I shall look forward to some very lengthy...

Or for someone that wrongly believes the following. Wicky, I Just hope that mine hurries up and arrives before too much longer. :( It would be nice to get at least a few relatively mud free dry rides in before the weather changes even further. I also don't want to wear the Hutchinson tyres...

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

What a superb day for an 'off road' ride. Despite the appearance of these photos, it was pretty muddy and heavy going today, and the new Hutchinson tyres are proving to be the best off road tyre that I have to date used. Forget on road use though, they really don't like it. Came across yet...

    Oxydrive ride recorded on Strava.

@Me... Getting back to Strava. I've used it for a very long time, but have now quit using it in favour of just getting out on the bike and enjoying the pleasure of riding it. It gets to the point where an app, is more important than just riding a bike. I occasionally use run keeper just for a...

Thankfully not my knees, they belong to my cousin. But having said that, they do seem to run in the family! :D I recall my Grandad saying that I knees like knots in cotton. The white bike is my old Haibike, and the black one, was the KTM e-Cross P . Both bikes came fitted with stands, and both...

    Oxydrive ride recorded on Strava.

Normally on a Wednesday morning there is a group of older guys turn up. By older, I mean in their eighties. They live in separate parts of Sussex, meet for a cuppa, then go their separate ways again. The weekends can get pretty busy, and oddly the locals moan about the amount of cyclists that...

    Oxydrive ride recorded on Strava.

You passed two good café stops. The Cats Protection at Chelwood Gate, and the little shop in Fletching high street. There is usually quite a gathering of cycles there on a Wednesday morning. Not so far from Deers Leap cycles either. Not a bad cuppa there either, but the food isn't as great. Next...

[May 5, 2015] Box Hill, Dorking, Surrey Electric Bike gathering? (Rykas Cafe)

There are some good off road loops around Sheffield park/Horsted Keynes. I'll have to search some out for you, but this ride shows one of the bridleways at Horstead Keynes. It's at the end of Church Lane. Not very long, but the lakes are nice, and the roads beyond quiet...

    bosch 500w in stock £522

Nope, just bad luck with the first two. You don't get a report back, so no idea what the issue was with either. Both times, the batteries were sent and returned within one week. It took BH over three months to replace the battery on the Neo Xtrem. S**t product, and s**t company to deal with...

    bosch 500w in stock £522

After having had two Bosch batteries fail, and a third now throwing out 530 error codes, as much as I like a saving, I'd rather stick with paying the extra for a UK supplied battery. I can imagine sending a faulty battery back to Germany or where ever outside of the UK, could be problematic...

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

Certainly easy money for them. Oddly I hadn't even considered the dust. I was more concerned about the cracks on it, and just how slippery that the youngmans board was on the algae. I was fined nearly £700.00 many years ago for putting a carry a bag full of old broken roofing sheet onto a skip...

And I spent my day, getting soaked through in torrential rain, up on an asbestos roof. :( Not at all jealous of you. Out on a night ride with a mate tomorrow evening, which should prove to be very wet and muddy.

    Cycle Gear @ Aldi

Can't go wrong with these. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GERMAN-army-military-surplus-winter-gloves-mitts-with-separate-trigger-finger-/171900538613?hash=item2806120ef5 I bought similar last year, and really rate them. They take a bit of getting used to for cycling use though.

    Helmet camera recommendations please

On a slightly different note.. I have just picked up our daughter's first car and it came fitted with one of these. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Veba-AVPEDVR-Accident-Witness-Camera/dp/B00XY8ZXDY I have to say that I'm very impressed with the image quality, even in low light conditions such as this.

Lovely place to ride Sherman, and actually very similar including the duck boards and roots, to somewhere that I have recently started to ride locally. I've yet to ride it in the wet, but the thought of the boards being highly slippery had already crossed my mind.

I hope that you get on better with the front guard than I did. I snapped two of them in a row, and gave up after that. :( I also have a rear one in the same style as you have shown, but again didn't get on with it. I can't remember why though at this moment. I really rate my Mucky Nutz front...

    50 Cycles: London telephone number!

At 49yrs old, perhaps I'm old before my time, but four things that I like to see on a website without having to search too hard, are as follows. Direct telephone details. Company address. Opening hours. Direct email details, not online forms which all to often just leave you in the dark, and...
