I don't see the problem. :) If they do hit the market place, and I hope that they will, the bikes have the potential to open up a new customer base of buyers that might otherwise not have ever thought about, or even known about e-bikes. And also as they say, competition is always good. .

Just learnt that the lad did indeed complete the course, and managed it in 4 hrs 6 mins. :) One things for sure, he isn't a quitter. That was one very tough ride, and in conditions that made many give up. Your next signing Col. ;)

After having my helmet peak torn off in yesterdays crash, I can understand your reluctance. I'm sure, that is what jarred my neck so badly.

That's a poor show on my part. I only live about 25 miles away and didn't even know that it existed. I'd have loved to have visited and watched it in action. Shame the some of the Olympic money hadn't been ploughed into it.

Yesterday I was a little bit down, but that's pain and being cold to the bone for you. Today and without hesitation, I'd get back out and do it all again. I just love being out on the bike. :) All things considered, the bike/ Space Shuttle performed brilliantly. :) Last photos.

I don't slow down to sit behind slower cars and lorries etc when driving, so why do it when cycling. Just get on with it. :) The same cyclists wouldn't slow down for you if the roles were reversed.
