How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

I haven't been along it for a while, so haven't seen the plane. You did sadly miss out on some pretty good off road stuff though. Next time that you are over this way, you will have to let me know. You could re charge the battery here, then I'll take you back to forest Row using a far more...

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

My local area. I hardly ever ride the old railway line. It is just plain boring, and I tend to use either the road, or the many bridleways that intersect between Forest Row and Rotherfield.

sugestions for suspention seatpost and comfy gel saddle

That is just what I was going to say. :) You probably had a lucky escape there. The Crivette cycle shorts that Lidl's sell, don't even make for a good rag, and even less so as a pair of cycle shorts. You pretty much get what you pay for in relation to cycle shorts, but Rose make some superb...

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

I put in a mixed ride of some 41 miles today. :) And guess what, something appears to be very wrong with the bike. Look at those tyres, I have returned home for the first time since last autumn with them being dry!!! Even the bike isn't that dirty. :) .

    ooooh errr missus

I'd imagine that it is very sensible option. It would certainly stop my current riding issue of severe and supposedly very common problem of having a boil or inflamed mole, just in the position of where the cut out is. That saddle would currently be heaven to me. 41miles of pain today. :(

    gates belt drive

I've had the use of a Scott Sub10 for a while now that is fitted with a Gates belt. I was almost tempted to buy it from the lad that owns it, until I saw the price of the replacement belts, and just as importantly the front sprocket cost. I can't remember what the costs were right now, but it...

    Cyclists Nutrition

Same as that. The downside is that they usually end up going to black mush. After seeing another lad with some, I've also now taken to carrying a packet of raisins. I've tried the energy drinks when taking part in the Wiggle rides, but they just make me want to puke up. Instead I just pile...

    Smelly lithium ion battery pack

This is an example of what I had seen. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/WaterProof-Battery-pack-18650-For-CREE-XM-L-LED-Bicycle-Light-9000mAh-6000mAh-/141251684868?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&var=&hash=item20e341aa04 From reading the above, replies, I couldn't understand how it could be water proof, if the...

    Smelly lithium ion battery pack

I have a quick question. On Ebay, some of the cree lights are available with the 1680 batteries secured in a water proof/sealed case. Would I then be correct in thinking that either these cases aren't water proof at all, or are that the sellers are sealing batteries in, when they perhaps they...

    Soldering irons

Possibly a daft question, but having never really dabbled with that much soldering in the past, and not being able to find my existing soldering iron, I'd be interested to hear what others are using, or would recommend to someone (me). :) I'd also be interested in hearing/learning about any...

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

I spent a bit of today on a chilled 17 mile ride searching for a lost dog. I've kind of become involved with it, after sighting it whilst out on a ride a month ago. There's a lot of people either trying to find it, and or finance the search effort. I offered to help again today, simply because...

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

Good to have your input to the thread Geoff. :) Got to admit, that the bike does look very nice in black. The trail also looks to be very dry as well. :) I had another mixed bag of a ride last night, with some tracks being dry, others with mud well above shoe level, the were impossible to ride...

Bosch Nyon Issues?. New substantial update: Jan 2015

I must admit, that other than the irritation of the display changing itself, I just leave mine in the ride setting. At least that is clear and useful. In reality I only need to know two things from an e-bike console. The battery level and power setting. A watch size display would give me that.

    Cube SUV Hybrid Pro

You certainly have a fantastic looking and well presented bike, and the statement quoted above, is all that counts. :) I wasn't trying to push you or give you a hard time, and your current experience with the bike, probably resonates with many users. The cut off point can be very frustrating...

Bosch Nyon Issues?. New substantial update: Jan 2015

That made me laugh when I read that this morning at work. It's also one of my pet hates of the system, along with cost savings in Euros on the same screen. What an utter load of bol*ox! Even this evening the system gave me grief when I went to try the bike after it being apart for the last...
