    gaadi tubes

I've often bought from Rose with no problems. The delivery times are also seemingly faster than buying from the UK.

FlyPedals - Universal Clipless Bike Pedal Adapter

I think that I shall stick with my Shimano A530 pedals. :)

Lapierre Electric Bikes come the the UK!..

As you know Martin, I have loved the style of the Lapierre for some time now.. The swingarm reminds me of a cross between the Suzuki Gull arm, and a Spondon. A very clever design, which should eliminate any potential chain slap. Oddly though, from looking a couple of Google images photos, it...

    Are offroad ebikes becoming acceptable?

I find the whole thing crazy. Surely all that we want is to have fun, so why should it matter what you ride or don't ride. To me variety of all sorts just adds to the enjoyment, opens up windows of opportunity, and should be encouraged, not discriminated against. :( The rivet counters at...

    Are offroad ebikes becoming acceptable?

Sadly that's the point. The riders who go to organised events, are the same riders that ride at mtb centres throughout the UK, the same riders who read mtb mags and reviews, the same riders who grill any e-mtb owner that dare to venture onto their forums, and are the same mtb riders who are...

    advice on tyres?

Just out of interest, how much weight does this method add to the bike?

    Danny has done it again.

Quite a thought provoking ride this one. http://epecuen.redbull.com/

    What about facts and figures?

Sitting on my side of the fence, I've gone the other way in relation to what to expect from an e-bike. Before buying the BH, I had read the various forums, with Endless Sphere containing the most technical related info, and something that it still excels at. I narrowed my choice down two bikes...

    Are offroad ebikes becoming acceptable?

Sorry Martin, as much as I'd lie to agree with you, I have to disagree with you on this one. :( Riding with friends on bridleways and cycle paths aside, the fact of the matter is that 'NO' e-mtb's have not become acceptable in the sense of the word in relation to other mtb users, which you...

    Stating the obvious ! Tubes

Thanks for that handy hint Rob, I hadn't even considered the how to remove the old tube part.

    Stating the obvious ! Tubes

The pump was the one thing that caught me out on the recent Cycle events ride when I had the first of the three pinch flats. On the BH I carry a Mountain Morph pump with dual fitting, but choose instead to take along for this ride, the smaller version which again had dual head. Stupidly I had...

What has happened to the variety?

I try. :) The bike. http://www.pedelecs.co.uk/forum/threads/the-neo-xtrem-has-reached-its-limit.17296/ BH in action. http://www.pedelecs.co.uk/forum/threads/wiggle-rough-ride.17042/ Best ride to date. http://www.pedelecs.co.uk/forum/threads/wiggle-ups-and-downs-april-26th-2014.17387/...

What has happened to the variety?

BH get quite a regular mention. :D Not saying that it is all positive though. I must admit that I'd love to read more about other brands of mid drive motors besides Bosch. It's a shame that there isn't far more competition in that department to keep the bike choice/selection more exciting...

    tyre pressure advice

I certainly wouldn't put them down to 20psi. As well pinch flats, you also run the risk of damaging the carcass of the tyre. I run my Marathon plus tyres on the hybrid at about 65psi, and the superb Panaracer xc fire pro tyres that are fitted to the BH at 40psi. The BH now hardly ever gets near...

Nice one Wicky, congratulations on you purchase. :)

How do you ride your ebike

That is another aspect of the BH hub drive that I like. In an off road situation you can sort of cheat the system into running on for a few seconds almost above cut off speed after you have stopped pedalling. It comes in very handy when hitting deep ruts that you would otherwise not be able to...

    advice on tyres?

Another vote for Marathon Plus tyres for day to day use. Another alternative could be a set of Panaracer Kevlar liners. http://www.wiggle.co.uk/panaracer-flataway-tyre-liner/?lang=en&curr=GBP&dest=1&utm_source=pla&utm_medium=base&utm_campaign=uk&kpid=5300024245
