What has happened to the variety?

I thought that it was good to hear, especially as they were on pedal only MTB's and yet seemed open and enthusiastic to the idea. Mind you after just sailing past the three of them here, I guess that Cols KTM must have seemed pretty impressive. Cruel, but it had to done. :D This is where I...

KTM or Cube? Bosch or Panasonic?

I've never actually found it any hassle to remove the rear wheel from the BH, and the KTM looks to be just as easy. Without breaking into a sweat, I can have easily have the rear wheel out and back in again, in less than five minutes. I find the SRAM DD3 hub on the crank drive Haibike to be far...

KTM or Cube? Bosch or Panasonic?

Hi elderse, a few of my thoughts in respect of the KTM E-CROSSp can be found here.http://www.pedelecs.co.uk/forum/threads/2014-ktm-e-crossp.17969/ In respect of the console, I'm finding it fiddly when compared to the Bosch console, but I'm sure that I'd get used to it over time. Wearing gloves...

    2014 KTM E-CROSS p review

Spook, the KTM meets all current UK legal requirements in respect of top speed, and it's all over by an indicated 15.5mph. I'm quite happy with this for off road climbs.

What has happened to the variety?

Tim, Whilst up on the South Downs on Sunday on the KTM http://www.pedelecs.co.uk/forum/threads/2014-ktm-e-crossp.17969/ a couple of lads that I stopped to talk to, mentioned your new shop in Shoreham. Word is getting out there about it. :) From your link. The spec looks great on paper, and...

What has happened to the variety?

To be fair, I think that they only started to sell Haibike a month ago, and they have received a hell of a lot of written negative flak for it from the existing client base, so it'll be interesting to see how it pans out. I guess that they are feeling the water with a very little toe. :D

    2014 KTM E-CROSS p review

The bike looks very nice Wicky. :) I still haven't got used to the control panel yet, and from looking at other reviews, I'm not alone in finding it fiddly and awkward. On today's ride I kept finding that I turned it off when switching between modes on bumpy terrain, and must admit that it...

    2014 KTM E-CROSS p review

I wondered exactly the same.. Anyway back on to the review, I took advantage yesterday evening to drag a very keen road cyclist out with me, to help format a comparison between the KTM and the Haibike. The lads average weekly road mileage is close to 300 miles, and one thing is for sure, he...

    2014 KTM E-CROSS p review

As I said, it could also be that the available torque is being directed better. I perhaps didn't phrase the statement very well, and it could simply be a case that KTM have put more effort into their frame design, in order to ensure that traction isn't lost. Certainly the frame feels very...

    Next ride booked 22/06/2014

I currently run an LT on the BH, but if and when my ST arrives, I'll happily swap it over for the day. :)

    Next ride booked 22/06/2014

I've just received written conformation that a new battery is on it's way from Spain for the BH, so I'm taking a chance and have booked up the next Wiggle ride. :) I'm supposed to be riding the event with an unfit lad who has just bought himself a peddle only mtb, so it could end up being a...

    2014 KTM E-CROSS p review

Hill climbing is definitely something that these bike excel at. Your comment nudged my memory a bit. You really have to chase through the gears on hills to keep up with the forward momentum of the bike. Sadly the bike doesn't quite have the same 'over run' on the motor that the BH has. If...

    2014 KTM E-CROSS p review

Firstly can I thank KTM Bike Industries UK for allowing me the use of a 2014 KTM E-CROSSp to try out and with their permission review. Thank you for trusting me. An overview of the 2014 KTM E-CROSSp Whilst I'll be writing a singular review about this bike, I thought that I'd also share an...

    advice on tyres?

I reckon that Marathon tyres have to rate as a real classic. I even reckon that they are great fun on light of road stuff including roots. :) This evening. A bit dark for clearer photos. This climb was much wetter than it looks.

    The complainers program last night

Just watching the preview was enough for me to know that I'd probably be more annoyed by those that are complaining, than I would by those supposedly having caused offence. I gave it a miss.
