Ah you have got me there, it looks the same as that except it doesn't have disc brakes, i think he said it was either a DS2 or was it DS3, anyway its not very old and looks just like new, plus i really enjoyed my test ride on it. Collect it this coming weekend : )

Yes i do understand what they were saying, of course if something breaks on the bike due to my alterations i wouldn't expect it to be covered. i would be a bit hacked off if it happened though, and it does make me think i need to be sure to buy a decent donor bike, trouble is it then as costs...

Been down to Local Halfords in Taunton today, looked at a Carrera Vengeance Mountain Bike, £299 looks ok to me, although they were not to enthusiastic about me converting it to electric, i am looking on Ebay, but think i may prefer a new bike as the donor, although i would imagine i would...

I to would have been really miffed if it was a very expensive bike, even so i was gutted to lose the Juicy, after a not so good buy of a Kudos City, which i sold and vowed i wouldn't bother again but a fairly new Juicy became available for a knock down price, i really liked it from the first...

Yes I do know that, I have had a quick look at the complete bikes available, dont want to be buying used bits as I really wouldnt know what im buying. Used bike sounds ok as long as its in ex condition.

Hmmm.... this seems to have gone off my track, i just wanted advice on build or buy, not to bothered if parts are Euro or China, as long as there reliable, its just a bike for leisure and trips to work, first comment from Trex was very helpful, plus i may look at some used donor bikes. Not keen...

Unfortunately some low low life deceived to beak into our house a month back, as well as taking a lot of personal stuff they took my Juicy bike from the garage, along with the panier bags and charger Grrrr. House insurance didn't cover the bike, lesson to be learned there. I really miss the...

    Sorted

After a awful experience with my first purchase of a Kudos City, which I promptly sold, my own fault in buying without trying. I have recently purchased a almost new Juicy Sport, which I am more than pleased with after my previous experience with the Kudos. I had decided not to venture into the e...

    Juicy Sport seat height

Not really, I wasted £ 650 on the Kudos City, nice bike, but no matter what people say it was a flaming big bike, anyway that was my fault. I have found a couple of bikes I like, but can't justify spending almost £2000 on one. Yes there maybe others which may be cheaper and OK, but having...

No more posts re e-bikes, since I sold the Kudos City, I have tried a few others out, unfortunately the one I would have bought was way to expensive, and the cheaper ones to be honest were poor. I even looked into buying a standard bike and converting it, well not me doing it as it looks to...

Its gone, sold tonight to forum member bazwaldo. He was well pleased with it,and got a bargain. Me...I'm glad to see the back of it. No more sagas, I'm trying before I buy next time,no more impulse buying and nothing as big as the Kudos City, which I still think was a big bike. Best of luck with...

No more mention of the Kudos City from me. I am sorry I ever bought it. Yes the price and bike quality are first class. I am hoping its going to be gone soon. Sorry but were all different while it seems to suit others it's not for me. I made the mistake, no blame at all on you at all. THE END. :-)

Oh believe me I have no intention of buying anything mail order, after making a huge mistake in buying the Kudos without trying it. I just can't get on with it at all,and its £650 wasted. I have tried a couple of bikes out, a Gepedia Reptila 900 and a Raleigh Leeds, preferred the Gepedia but its...
