    Pedals

I am looking to replace original pedals (cage type). Going through styles on local trails very easy to scrape my ankles. I bought a pair of flat ones but on first usage found them slippery when wet. Are there any flat types that would suit without breaking the bank gray

    Refurbish Freego Eagle

Have the above mentioned with 16ah battery. Still works ok but the battery is starting to show it's age. So I am looking at alternatives. First is a change of bike and been considering a step through as not quite as agile these days. However I am finding with more regular use it's not such a...

    Cape at Aldi

For anyone looking for a cheap cape/poncho. Just picked one up at local Aldi for £10. Obviously at that price not going to be best quality but does not seem too bad. Has a hood with clear sides for peripheral vision.

    New handlebars

Of late I am having some problems with my wrists after riding my Eagle for any distance. So i was wondering if it would help to change bars to more of a swept back style to try and take some pressure off. If that is the case would it be a big job and are there any recommendations as to bars...

    Ebikes abroad

Just been to Italy and was quite surprised how many ebikes were about in Pisa and Sorrento. There seemed to be as many ebikes as normal bikes. Also noticed that even in a cycling nation like Italy there did not seem to be any stigma attached. They were being ridden by all ages from teenage up to...

    Battery

Just as a point of interest. I weighed my Freego Eagle battery which is 16ah and was amazed that it was actually 5.5k. would this be a normal weight or are more modern ones lighter. I don't actually need such a big battery so when it is done I will go smaller if I still have the same bike
