    Juicy Bike Folder freewheeling

Recently went for a nice ride along the High Peak and tissington trails with my wife on her Juicy Folder. Riding from the north down towards Tissington I was able to freewheel most of the way as it is mainly downhill. My wife poor devil had to pedal the whole way. The bike just would not roll...

recently when washing my Freego Eagle I noticed some stone chips on the frame. I contacted John at Freego to see if they did the small touch up paints. Got an immediate reply saying they do not do that but they would send me a small pot of red paint. I have received that today and would like to...

    does anybody remember

many years ago there was a programme on Tv called 'Tomorrows World'. I seem to remember an 'Invention' of a bike chainwheel which had a constantly changing gear ratio depending on the amount of effort the rider was putting in. It's a long time ago but I think this was achieved with a system of...

    cycle insurance

Just spent 20 mins on phone to my Home insurer Esure to try and cover 2 ebikes on home cover. After giving all details I was then told that they could not cover bikes because they only cover up to motor size of 200 watts. Anyone else had a similar experience? Looks like I'll have to go to a...

    state of roads

Having not cycled for many years I had forgotten just what a poor state many of our roads are in. It really highlights it on an electric bike with the extra weight. Makes you wonder where all the money paid in the various motoring taxes is being used. Obviously not on maintaining roads gray

    question on Freego battery

On my new Eagle when using on full power the indicator lights can go down to 1 or 2 if going up a hill, but then recover when back on flat. Is this normal and just a sign of the load on the battery. So if the lights go back to 5 does this mean that there is plenty of life in battery? How...
