    Range of new Yamaha Motors

Martin, Have you tested the system riding in the UK rather than accepting the manufacturer's claims? i.e. if you ride for x miles/Kms of mixed terrain on road / trail in standard power, how much battery was used? Robbie

Haibike SL29 pedals spinning no chain movement

I had a similar issue with my Kalkhoff Impulse Ergo -- the dealer here just replaced the whole motor and lent me a similar bike while they did it. I do know that he was not given any information by Kalkhoff Germany as to what had failed -- they just supplied a new motor so I suspect they have...

    Kalkhoff Battery issue

Many thanks -- I suspected that it was something like that -- I just thought that 122 was so different to 180 that it might be defective and as these batteries are so expensive, I needed to get it checked at this stage. Kalkhoff Battery issue

Folks -- I have a Kalkhoff Impulse Ergo with a (supposedly) 15Ah battery. Kalkhoff say the range on Eco should be approx 180Kms. Mine when fully charged shows only 122Kms range available on the display. This has been the case since it was new 6 months ago when it was supplied as a replacement...

I have a Kalkhoff Impulse Ergo with the Nu-Vinci Harmony gears. I found a problem when under load on power mode, but when the rear sprocket was changed to a 20 tooth from a 21 that it came with(on the advice of the Fallbrook customer service guy who was brilliant!) all problems went away and the...

How do you carry your bike?

I have a Westfalia carrier which goes onto the ball hitch. It is rated for 60Kgs and carries our two Kalkhoffs no problem. The integral lights make it totally safe and the clamp arms are a sufficient length.
