I dare say Flyer S-Series for the first type and maybe Heinzmann Estelle for the second one, with a titanium Nano-Brompton in the middle perhaps. But what I've learned till now is that there is not the best electric bike, since the best one is the one that suits your very specific needs.

If I'm not wrong the Nano Brompton is 36V though... Is there anything in the driving that one can bear in mind in order to reduce the drive slip risk?

In Italy we had rather bad experiences with the Goldenmotor: Chinese poor quality in the most classical form. On the other hand we have quite good experiences with the Crystalyte and the Nine Continent kits, both Chinese direct drive hub motors if I'm not wrong. They are not the Bionx of course...
