    Forza vs Agattu

..and thats why its cool , compared to the Forza which looks like someones taken a £50 BSO from ASDA and stuck a battery on it. IMHO Agattus are quite masculine in a Germanic sort of way as opposed to Gazelles which are clearly for ladies:)

    Agattu First Ride Report

See now if 50cycles had any brains they'd just supply every Kalkhoff with one of these. I know i phoned up 50cycles and asked how i to get air into the tyres. That had to get close to costing them 49p.-

    A to B Magazine

A2B are notoriously bias and fickle and always hate anything new that isnt a brompton or a LaFree (now swapped for Agattus). This is the genius of the magazine, if they actually like something you know its good! Thats why A2B's gushing Agattu review had such a big impact (made me buy it)...

    Agattu First Ride Report

re the valves DONT BUY NEW TUBES! I went into my lbs to buy 4 new inner tubes. While moaning about the woods valves, they kindly told me that i didnt need new tubes i just needed an adaptor, which they sold to me for some pennies. My lbs is a hidden gem. Its a little brass thing that...

Hurray the wife loves the Agattu My wife hasnt really cycled since she had Michael our 14month old. Last Sunday bar one, we had a family trip to a nice duckpond 6 miles each way mostly flat but with two annoying rises along the way. My wife had the Agattu and i had my Dawes. She loooved it...

    First commute

Excellent! Kudos on your commute! I've used the slime Liners and found it works for certian types of puncture. Much better than the crappy slime in your tubes blocking your valves. I suspect if you are using cycle lanes your tyres will get shredded. Get the M+s

    Agattu Stand Breakage!

You guys rock! Loads of solutions and ideas. When the new stand comes i'll try fiddling with the angle or extending it. Maybe experimenting with a perfect front wheel angle it would help out. Its interesting to see the weight limits on those Hebie stands. The 616 is not reliable enough at...

    Agattu Stand Breakage!

I spoke to 50cycles yesterday theyre sending another one out. A weak one is better than non, but i'll not put mike on it again. The stand broke in the mid point. Anyone think of a reliable option? Maybe something old fashioned from the good old days? I'm after somthing reliable that wont...

    Agattu Two

Thats awesome! Flecc. Is that for sale? PS Musicbooks. If your boys 4 he needs to pedal his own way! Put him on a tag-a-long and get him to help. 4 year olds have so much energy theyre as good as an extra battery! I think theres a link to a ctc thread with a lot of discussion on how to move...

Advice sought for a new bike would be welcome

I'd guess if speed is the key aim, you'll need the classic features that aid speed: -Rigid frame and no suspension (reduce energy wastage) -Skinny tyres and wheels (reduce road resistance) -Drop handlebars and lycra kit (reduce wind resistance) Is there a vehicle on the market thats...

How many electric bikes do you see out on the roads?

I live between cambridge and harlow. Theres an old guy in my village of 200 odd souls with a powacycle which sounds as old as him. Me and him are the only all year round cyclists. I see quite a few electric bikes round harlow (there are a few bumps here). Lots of budget ones, powacycle...

    After burn

    Agattu Two

Good job! I keep trying to get my wife on my Agattu, but she's quite suspect of it. It will be great when we have one each though.

Does anyone ride in the rain because they have to?

I've heard on forums that those rain legs are useful for a mile or two in light to medium rain. So good for in town short hops and are low bulk when off. I ride in the rain but not usually on my pedelec! The pedelec is an anti sweat device, but in a waterproof i'm just going to sweat anyway...
