How long should my ebike chain last?

Sorry to pop off topic briefly, but where are you getting SRAM / KMC chains for £7 from please?

Haibike 2016 XDURO Allmtn RC or 2016 XDURO FullSeven RC?

I think that was the right choice at that price. Enjoy it and keep us posted with your experiences. :)

Shimano Saint - quality pedal, strong, reliable, make most people running flats happy, etc. I imagine you could pick those up for peanuts if you were buying in their thousands and I imagine the majority of buyers would appreciate it. Just because the bike industry works that way as I noted...

To go tubeless or not to go tubeless.

I use the compressor first to seat the tyre without any sealant in. Once seated it doesn't move and I deflate the tyre, remove the valve core and syringe sealant through the valve... then pop the core back in and re-inflate. No risk of blowing the sealant out. :)

To go tubeless or not to go tubeless.

That's what I use Eddie... well, I say 'use' but I've only used it the once to seat my Nobby Nics which didn't need re-seating during my ownership. There was a little trial and error with the first tyre, but the second went on without any problems whatsoever. I'll be giving my DIY compressor...

New Bike - Specialized Turbo Levo

A few months ago, my hankering after a hardtail began and only grew stronger. So, having recently sold my Bosch powered full suspension Cube (which I've absolutely loved over the last 12 months), I set about my hardtail quest. Having demo'd the Specialized Turbo Levo HT Comp 6Fattie...

    E-Bikeshop.co.uk

I haven't dealt with Martin, but... - refusing to cover your travel costs to his shop or to discount a bike by an equivalent amount; and - not providing pedals on an £x,000 bike ...aren't what I consider to be valid points to include in this thread. The first is simply ridiculous to me and...

    Felt Lebowsk e fat mtb

That's a great looking bike and I imagine the few changes you've made will work really well... particularly the weight saving in the right places through wheels / tubeless / Lauf fork. Enjoy your rainy Thursday. :)

Newbie battery mileage / usage questions

Woah... just had a read up on the Lauf forks. Maintenance free and the low weight really are appealing and they look cool too!

Newbie battery mileage / usage questions

Forgive my ignorance - I've never heard of those. Off to google I go... :)

Newbie battery mileage / usage questions

Great choice - is that last year's model with the rigid fork or this year's with the Bluto? Not that it matters as they're both great bikes with great spec - I'd just be interested in how comfortable you find the rigid with the fat tyres if that's the model you're getting.

    New bike

Great stuff - congratulations. I've not spent much time with the Yamaha drive unit but did give it a whirl at a demo day recently and enjoyed it. Lapierre certainly know how to make a good looking bike. Let us know your thoughts once you've spent some time with it.

    Tyre time again

Forgive my ignorance Eddie... but what is that brass looking thing on the end of the Presta valve? I use a 'ghetto compressor' when setting up tubeless tyres for the first time and it's suprisingly effective. Track pumps with a separate compressor air chamber have recently been released but...

    Brose

Integrated... as in not removable? That would be a deal breaker for me too.

    Brose

No set date yet, but should be in the next week or so. I'll be sure to post some photots when it arrives!

    Brose

I'm not aware that they do a plus size hardtail so, after brief consideration, they didn't make it on to the list. Limited UK retailer network too, as with Bulls, making it tricky to demo one. edit: oh, and don't they have a 2x drivetrain as well? I'm quite set on 1x.

    Brose

I don't know much about BH so that brand never made it to my maybe list. My next bike must be a hardtail and must be 'plus size'. Surprisingly, that really limits the available options whereas all the Levo models come in a '6Fattie' setup (Boost standard with 38mm rims and 3" tyres). The...

    Brose

My next eMTB will be a Brose (Specialized Turbo Levo HT) and I've just sold my Bosch powered eMTB. In my opinion, the main advantages of the Brose are: - it's really quiet - it enables the motor and battery to be better integrated - power delivery feels more natural somehow - feels like the...

    Overvolt

Not what you asked for, but only one number out... http://www.tredz.co.uk/.Lapierre-Overvolt-FS-600-2016-Electric-Bike_84294.htm 41cm and 48cm sizes in stock though. With the save250 code, that brings it down to £3,150.
