hi Need to get Mrs C back on a bike. Her current 3 speed Nexus gets set in 2nd and not changed as she doesn't like changing gears. Oh and yes she has an auto only driving license. So my Q is which is the best Fully automatic system out there. One she can just pedal and forget... Gather...

OP doesn't have a tow bar.......So how do these help him? I agree with you a tow bar and rack are best (i have one) but OP doesn't and I doubt he wants to spend a grand going that route

Surely it's a % profit not a sum.,the more expensive bikes must give more griss profit?? If using Gtech at £900 giving say £300 gross profit then wouldn't a £3000 bike have a £1000 gross profit in it?

I think that a throttle really needs a hub motor. Have a look at a Wisper. I believe the throttle works as long as some pedaling is done but you can get someone to over ride this. My Wisper is 3 years old and still going strong.

If you had a car where the engine needed replacing after a year, you would get a new engine fitted not a refund or a new car. I think 50 cycles are now addressing the problem in a correct manner. Perhaps it's now time to move on.

Pity. I'll still be in South Africa. Hope there's some shows in April as I'm aiming to get a new bike this Spring, plus possibly one for Mrs C. Off to the highlands in May with our current bikes....maybe with new ones.

Riese and Muller Nevo has a special frame with a high chain stay allowing belt change when needed.

Or just buy a bike with 2 batteries.

D link. Gold standard. Don't use a cable unless you have a chain or D link too.

Don't rule out Bulls and Specialized using the high torque Brose motor.
