Thanks for putting me right. Just one observation...if he doesn't have to pay German VAT where did you get the 577 euros from? That included Vat plus you've added uk VAT on top of the German Vat
Thank God I'm not an accountant..lol
On the subject if Vat. If the dealer is Vat registered surely he can claim back the Vat paid on the import. Therefore to calculate the "margin" excluding exchange rates it should be.
Base price less German Vat.
Then add on "margin"
Onto the total add uk Vat
Then when doing his Vat return he...
Wrong....
Travis margin per item is much lower.....it's all a question of piling it high and selling it cheapish. I'm sure if you ordered 10,000 batteries the unit price would be much lower.
That was tongue in cheek.....:D
Just a thought. If doing salary sacrifice check how it affects your pension. If in a Final Salary scheme by reducing salary you may well reduce pension.
As I said just a thought.
I do feel Kalkoff need to address the problem. A good name can be destroyed do easily. Lancia comes to mind with the Beta issue. NSU with the RO80 problem.
Who said... "A man who steals my purse steals trash... But a man who steals my good name steals all".
50 cycles aren't the problem it's...
Nice bike from a quality firm with a proven motor. If it's crank drive with integrated battery also look at Bulls and BH Emotion. Both use the Brose motor.
If hub motor then you can't go far wrong with a Wisper but they don't offer an integrated battery yet.

Thanks to all and I was sorry to hear you still have $200,000,000 locked in an account and all you need are my bank details to release these funds. Oh and I don't need the little blue pills you're offering too.
Looks a nice bike...At that price point is try a few others too Have a look at the Wisper Torque.
Go to a dealer who has a few different bikes you can try.
I'm sure whatever you choose you'll enjoy it.
If you've tried it and like it then just go for it. I've had no problems with my old se classic. Also Wisper support you. What price to put on that?
David has whetted my interest with his forth coming bike with an intergrated battery. Damn you David. Lol.
This is spot on...it's why when my turbo on my Mercedes went under warranty....albeit towards the end of the manufacturers warranty the garage advised me to pay a £10 contribution then I got the parts 2 year warranty.
