I think we all agree, but as stated if someone can't afford this option or is reluctant to fit a towbar then what are the other options if any.

Thule raceway 2, if it fits. I've always had a tow bar until now, so opted for the best rear carrier i could that doesn't need tow bar and is easy to fit quickly. I also didn't want to try and lift bike onto roof and was worried i'd forget the height. Towbar is best, but this imho is the best...

I hear both sides here. I think it's nice that a dealer like KTM will try and help with a motor in terms of diagnostics etc. What has been made clear to me by my dealer is that if its a simple software issue my dealer can help, but pretty much everything else involves a replacement motor...

Nice enough bikes for money, but nothing special. A lot of these bikes really do look the same these days. As a current Haibike 2016 owner, i'm waiting for motor / batteries to move on a bit.

Agree, but I'm of the opinion when the motor goes and I or local guy I know can't fix it, I can get a replacement for about £600, at least last time I looked. I've been told that these motors either work or they don't no real maintenance required. I'm hoping mine works for some time yet.

I'd read somewhere that the levo battery ran out of charge quicker than say a Haibike of similar spec on same ride, speed, cadence and weight. There was a marked difference as well, interesting. I done some testing myself on my Haibike with bosch motor and speed of 25mph average. On turbo i get...
