Totally agree with you - with rights come responsibilities. For whatever reason, perhaps our politics, particularly in the HOC being confrontational we do seem to have lost the plot, not just in the HOC either.

Surely this is not beyond an element of trust going forward? We certainly start in having identical systems and controls in place.

Snap - I too used to rally in a Champ, also great fun. About all I can claim is living to tell the tale.

The differences are fairly extreme, they've maintained neutrality for a start which is hardly a choice for ourselves albeit some do call for versions of it. Hard to find any fault with the Swedes I have worked with them in the past and visited many times - lovely people. For whatever reason, wish...

For those of us living in Scotland there's not that big a difference in latitude but I grant you, it probably is colder overall.

Sort of agree with this. The only caveat being the Northern Powerhouse albeit that does seem to have stalled somewhat - Yes, Brexit will be the catalyst for all of this.

I certainly remember the Austin Champ - you had all four (I think) gears available in reverse - we used to have races around Paderborn going backwards in the sand dunes at 60mph plus - great fun!

Only just spotted, apologies for not reading your post completely before I got fed up with it. - I am not and never have been a member of the Conservative Party. In the past (long time ago) have voted both Labour and Liberal. My Uncle was even a Shop Steward at Cowley! How about you then... can...

A proud Englishman! I love my country and irrespective of all the political (nonsense) am happy to live here. It is not, in my eyes, the picture many on here paint. It is controversial, to me, for someone to suggest that our PM is in cahoots with or supports someone intent on removing Palestine...

Hope vs Fear Probably closer to my views than anything else to date! Not sure that makes me a Tory.

True - Horse Power vs Horse S**t perhaps. a welcome break perhaps?

It might surprise you but let me repeat something I said earlier - I am my own man. That said I have to admit being a proud Englishman not an apologist of one!

Try this then - from a man with which you have much in common I suspect? I'll leave you to work out which one.

I won't - if it comes from you then yes, it probably, almost certainly, is conspiracy theory. Put another way - an out and out lie.

Really hurting, as indeed are most welfare costs as the population ages and increases in number. Pity we have to let politics get in the way of solutions.

Your negotiating /social skills are sadly lacking and simply display a totally closed (empty) mind. There's absolutely no point, to me, in answering your loaded questions.
