    Brexit, for once some facts.

Clutching at straws coms to mind. I doubt we will hear anything new, it's always seemed clear, to me, that should we choose then we could change our minds. This is yet a another rerun by the wanna stays to force such a change in mind by attempting to undermine anything and anyone in support of...

    Equifax

Fife certainly has the worst performing NHS in Scotland whereas Ninewells, despite the underfunding has a very well managed A&E. They see and categorise incoming patients almost immediately. Scotland does enjoy rather more funding thanks to the Barnett Formula. Who are these MP's that invest in...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Oh dear, an English lesson from Old Tom. Correct, I wasn't there, yet you and OG seem to know that something sinister was (going on). Please tell me exactly what went on at that dinner. You can't, can you - it's all conspiracy theory rubbish.

and another for you Tom, I appreciate that it is two Tories discussing BREXIT but the language is civilised and therefore easier to understand.

Apart from the obvious links to the happenings of WW2 and the need for all politicians to at least be seen as supportive of Israel, I'm not aware if any clandestine reasons, are you?

    Brexit, for once some facts.

I take it, the phrase "know your enemy' goes completely over your head? Not that I'm suggesting Israel is our enemy.

This is bitter and twisted, no I don't mean the drinks!

I rarely agree with you either, but at least that comment had a compassionate element.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Do you really think that the many countries in the Far East now manufacturing goods and exporting them to us would agree with you? I don't think anyone would claim that for us it doesn't bring some issues but 'Free Trade' is essentially the right way to go and for us, Brexit is the way to deal...

Do you really think that the Unions would have allowed them (BL) to outsource engines?

    Brexit, for once some facts.

I don't want, nor do I expect Governments to run the country. They are not so equipped. They are simply required to provide an infrastructure that allows business to prosper and take just enough taxation to look after those that need to be looked after. If only it were that simple.

To all intents and purposes it was a nationalised industry, remind me who is it that's in favour of such? They simply don't work, can't work and never will work. The theory is fine as they are for co-operatives but they always fail, because no one is in charge with 'real' money. Taxation, is not...

Agreed and you surely accept that after the war the only way was up, it couldn't possibly have gotten any worse. Germany was perhaps in an even worse position and they've done OK too. It didn't seem that good at the time, as I recall. Surely, the great British Public couldn't be that daft -...

How much would that generate, assuming it were possible? And, what would you do with it?

This is an interesting read - not just the Headlines please! The Germans are making contingency plans for the collapse of Europe. Let’s hope we are, too The German defence ministry set out its worst-case scenario for the year 2040 in a secret document that was leaked to Der Spiegel last...

The "death" of the car, (as we know it)

In many ways it is a no-brainer and I suspect fairly easy to achieve from a technical viewpoint. The measure will be at what cost to the passenger. If it comes in at around the Business Class rate then I can see it literally, taking off. Not that I usually travel BC anymore, I only have my own...
