    Replacement 36V 16AH LiFePO4 batteries?

Lifepo4 usually has a slightly lower nominal voltage at 3.3v vs 3.6 (or 3.7). So generally even at the same voltage and amperage the are slightly bigger. Your best bet is to ask for diemensions in all cases. You can change the amperage for higher if you like, it will extend your range...

    Simply The...New Additions..

Interesting the clothing sector hasn't seen anywhere near as many increases. The VAT issue has been like that for some time now and although makes a few points decrease on the Margin is hardly a huge number to swallow. Unless they are fobbing you off with trying to get more margin I always...

    ALIEN OCEAN APOLLO 750 Watt

If it's a golden motor it will be a direct drive. So top speed will be very good whilst hill climbing with probably quite similar to the bpm so long as you keep in on the boil anyway.

    Replacement 36V 16AH LiFePO4 batteries?

The 20amp hour one will larger in size. Due to having more cells. However it would give you an increased range. It would also mean the cells are under less stress. Eg more cells doing the same job means each one is under less stree when pulling power or current.

Can I make a battery pack with these power tool batteries?

Like nrg said it's no where near as bad as what it was. And in an ebike application your hardly getting the cells to perform that hard at the lower c ratings. An if you don't charge at a hideous rate they can be good. But your right keeping them outside would be the best just incase. At least...

What does a moped feel like to ride?

Inprefere the stealth look so prefer a bike look with an added fun factor. Some of the other mountain bikes with large frame and forks look cool though.

Interesting I'm using a similar lipo pack with the batteries at pull about 960 watts @ peak (20amp controller) and to be honest its loads in a hybrid bike and the speed if i leave it on full tilt with me pedalling up a hill is quite scarey. To put it into context, I went up a hill twice as...

Becareful on ratings of electric motors. Electric motors will draw anything they can pull electrically until they burn out or stop functioning. There was a detailed report on how the ratings continous report worked for electrical motors but is buried within the search function here...

    Which kit is...

I only have limited experience using the Bafang range of motors so couldn't really give you a good all rounder. However I have been more than happy with the performance of the Bafang BPM 350w Rear Kit I brought from BMS Battery. This cost £150 inc shipping. Delivery from China was slow and I...

Your pretty much heading down the route I did. Using the same batteries as me also. Although I only monitor cells at pack level using a turnigy watt meter. I also Cycle alot of it so If I do use electric its only ever for hills or a boost. Majority of the time I pedal. Anyway... Plenty...

    How many gears

Hello all, You don't really need the same range of gears on an electric bike as you do a normal unassisted bike. Due to the fact the motor takes some of the pressure of when dealing with inclines. When using electric I usually use about 3/4 gears in the highest range (Higher top speed) of...

I never understand the weight on motorhomes. Could you not just whack it inside the thing?

    Tonaro,simply the best

My preference is the opposite as I prefere full control and assistance on demand. But I actually stop using any assistance once up to speed if i'm lazy. Or dont even use it at all. Now the motor has loosened up and most of the weight is in a back pack I don't really notice the extra weight...

    Tonaro,simply the best

I think most basic transmissions and chains are stronger than what you think. Even on motorbikes there not that huge when you think of the torque and power being transmitted through them. I'd imagine most wear would could from not properly lubricating the chain leading to excessive wear.
