OldTom, For once, I totally agree with you. It was Allied air forces and the Poles were part of them. I was only quoting my Uncle who was there in the RAF at the time. Most of the Europeans that had escaped the German advance and that flew in the RAF were fighting the Germans, but not...

More rubbish. The Poles did not fight for Britain, they fought for Poland. Lots of them also joined the Wermacht.
