    Oxygen S Cross E-Bike!

I notice Tesco are now selling ebikes with laods of clubcard point offers. https://www.tesco.com/direct/oxygen-s-cross-mountain-electric-emtb-bike-13ah-black/557-6764.prd?skuId=557-6764 Bit confusing though as its not clear on if the brakes are mech or hydraulic

Hello, is an ebike a suitable alternative to a expensive train commute?

I have contemplated a moped to do my 15 (soon to be 20) mile each way commute. Problem is the moped rules out the use of cycle lanes, and tracks that the moped can not be used on. Plus I would get even less exercise on a moped than I do on my ebike. I can do my current commute in about 45 to 50...

why do my email alerts stop on my threads despite members still replying?

I might be wrong, but I think that unless you go and view that thread after you have the email, it wont send any more emails until you do go view it....

How not to cross a train track with your bike

I commend you on that, everyone is different in these circumstances. Had the guy not been so aggressive towards the person who spoke to him, maybe my response would have been different, but life is way too short to risk your own for someone like that.

How not to cross a train track with your bike

    Country lane commute options

I know you mentioned before about the dealer's 30% making a big difference. The C2W scheme employer place uses is only through Halfords....but you can buy anything on their website, so it includes manufacturers that I initially wouldnt have thought obtainable through this particular C2W....are...

Two new Woosh bikes are on the way

That would be great, appreciate that, although no mad rush to do it. I know this thread is maybe turning out to be a request thread, but would there be a possibility of adding mudguards and rack as optional extras at the time of purchase? Just make it simpler as there seem to be so many...

Riding home after a beer anyone?

Did it once and will never do it again. Quite literally almost died through my own stupidity. Works night out, rode the bike to the nearest tram station, got tram into work. Fair few beers after work, got tram back, got on bike....pedal dropped off on way home. Tried to push it, ride it with...

is this wattmeter ok and how to fit

Thanks for the tips...I'll probably leave it as its not going to be straightforward then. The bike wont be long term so not worth going to too much trouble to add one to.

is this wattmeter ok and how to fit

I cant get the search function to find what Im looking for and I know its here somewhere... Its related to using this meter. My battery is a 48v, and shows 55v when fully charged. It has usally dropped to a touch under 50 after my commute....memory tells me that the voltage drops by 1 volt for...
