    More cyclotricity problems

Wont be trying this again in a rush. Felt like I was going slower than walking, and it wasnt easy. Did half the journey then locked the bike up and jumped on the tram! Obviously not as fit as I thought

    More cyclotricity problems

I think something is loose inside the battery case for it to behave like that. Dont want to open it up because its under warranty still. I notice that before this, when you pressed the battery power button, you get like a response..almost a buzz...hard to explain, but that doesnt happen now when...

Does the bike I need exist at the right price...

Good to hear :) Probably a similar weigh to me in that case. By full assist, do you mean the highest level possible? Is that turbo (or sport) and on max assist? I think I read it has 18 possible levels of assist... How long have you had the bike, how many miles have you covered on it, and has it...

Does the bike I need exist at the right price...

Thanks, useful site:) If only I knew what all the motors are, I could do more comparisons. Be interesting to comapre the stealth with the woosh and oxygen. Is the 8 fun motor the same as the BPM?

Does the bike I need exist at the right price...

By Chinese...do you mean the one on my stealth? and I need a better bike to do my mileage? No offence taken if it is, because im rapidly beginning to feel that way. Out of interest...how is that 30 -35 miles estimated? Say I weigh 90kg with my baggae, on a fairly level run and little wind, how...

Does the bike I need exist at the right price...

Thanks for that....is an 11ah battery enough though? The Rio does seem pretty good. I guess as its not even out yet, there are no review yet. Definitely one for the short list though.

Does the bike I need exist at the right price...

Looking for some help to get the right bike next time round, if one actually exists. My mileage will be 160 a week on average, 4 days at 40 miles. I weigh around 80kg, and carry a bag with tools etc which weighs about 5-6kg. I consider myself to be reasonably fit for 49. Commuting bike...

Tomorrow, Im going to use the mrs mountain bike and pedal it. Hopefully it shouldnt be too hard for 15 miles mostly flat. Weighs probably less than...

    More cyclotricity problems

Riding home tonight, their is a small kick from the back wheel when i put it into level 5 assist, then a few seconds later, it cuts out. LCD is showing normal display. I restarted everything and all seems fine for a couple of miles, then everything dies. The LCD has a faded display showing...

    Cyclotricity Stealth Owners thread.

Well, on Friday, i had the chance to ride 20 miles, (6 miles then a break, then 14) similar route to what my new commute would be, and I managed to do it on one charge. No idea how much juice was left, but there was no apparent sag near the end. Had to knock the assist down quite a bit, but...

E-BIKES ARE TAKING OFF IN THE UK – AND A NEW TAX BREAK COULD ENCOURAGE EVEN MORE PEOPLE TO SADDLE UP

PS either scheme is a no brainer for me. A rail ticket when I move house will cost 1700 for the year... thats for a 40 mile round trip plus 15 minutes walk at each end. My employer does offer interest free loans for that, but there are no tax benefits in it. The cycle shemes win hands down, and...

E-BIKES ARE TAKING OFF IN THE UK – AND A NEW TAX BREAK COULD ENCOURAGE EVEN MORE PEOPLE TO SADDLE UP

Thanks David I will dig out some contact details when back in work on Monday. I dont hold much hope for any changes as they employ over 70,000 people in the UK, and get the feeling one person can't change their way of thinking. Many thanks.

E-BIKES ARE TAKING OFF IN THE UK – AND A NEW TAX BREAK COULD ENCOURAGE EVEN MORE PEOPLE TO SADDLE UP

Sounds great. I think my employer will be sticking to the halfords C2W scheme again this year. Wish it was simpler for the employee to pick what scheme to go with.

E-BIKES ARE TAKING OFF IN THE UK – AND A NEW TAX BREAK COULD ENCOURAGE EVEN MORE PEOPLE TO SADDLE UP

It mentions the word "hire" a lot....does that mean you give the bike back at the end of the period?
