    Opinions on eRolling Sports S2615

Crikey, I'd be rather concerned about buying a bike supplied by a firm that don't know which way the handlebars should be fitted!! Astonishing.

    Legal or not?

I think if the Old Bill pulled you over, sitting astride a vehicle that patently did not adhere to any accepted construction and use regulations, the engine of which would be hot, evidencing recent operation, coupled with their having witnessed you riding it whilst appearing to emit the sound of...

    Battery power???? V

Hi Steve.C Must be a problem with the switch I would guess, perhaps some water ingress has caused a problem. If you've been in the wet alot, then I'd pop off the side cover and check the controller compartment isn't all wet. I sealed up the holes where the wires go in with silicone as I...

    a good pump

" It's only about 5 inches long and has proved robust and effective." I thought I was being quite conservative actually!

Are electric bikes just for lazy people?

Clearly there is an increasing abundance of lazy people in our midst. On a ride to Eastbourne at the weekend I saw 6 E-bikes, that's the most I've seen in a day. They all looked very new. The E-Virus is clearly extending it's coverage in these windy times.

    Really flying

Hi Neptune, I've been a flyer for many years. I have a 2 seat Aero Designs Pulsar and it took me 5 years to build it! It's my favourite toy. As you might imagine, your enquiry is a bit of a 'piece of string' question. Nonetheless, use of power during final approach will vary according...

    I need your advice

Hello Slim, I think the best way forward is to try as many as you can first. Even if this requires a days travelling to sample a few types it would be worthwhile. Suitability where E-Bikes are concerned is strictly a personal taste. Clearly you have done some research already. Hub drives...

What is the future of E-bikes ?

The Future, I think its bright, very bright. The technology we are now using and the market as it is will expand ever further. The knowledge base will drive larger machines, full blown motorcycles and eventually cars. It all hangs on battery development, but it will happen. I happen to...

    Another dealer..........another waste of time!

Jeez, that's appalling. Certainly you ought to inform the manufacturer. I never cease to be amazed how any business based on misrepresenation and monumental stupidity can make any profit at all. There are some nice dealers out there, better luck next time.

    Li-Pol?

Hi Nick, I have a Lithium Polymer battery. Whilst no electrical expert, I've had no problems at all, and I have ridden in heavy rain, snow etc.

    a good pump

Hi Grey, I have been using this item from 'Crank Brothers' for some years now. Crank Brothers Power Pump Ultralight Compact Pump: Amazon.co.uk: Sports & Outdoors I think I paid £12 for mine, but it has a 2 stage pump which works very well. It's only about 5 inches long and has proved...

Which would be best? Or something completely different?

Range. I have a hub drive with a 17 amp/hr battery. If I'm feeling lazy and there's a few hills, I can get 50 miles to flat. Worst I've had is 34 miles, but that was very windy on full power all the time. If I only use the power for hills and I'm happy to take my time then over 60 miles is...

    A milestone

Awesome! I wonder how many times the pedals have gone round, I guess you could work it out. That's a long way, you must be getting close to Australia by now.:)

    Sunshine and Slime

E-Biking is never boring, I love every minute. Of note was that, whilst fixing the first puncture at the side of a busy cycle track, I would guess 60+ bikes went past without even a glance. Now if I had been in the same predicament on a motorcycle, another biker would have stopped to assist...

    Sunshine and Slime

Today I was fortunate enough to have a day off, and it was sunny. Time for an E-Nip I thought. Down to the coast, along the seafront, Ice Cream at the fishmarket, all very pleasing. At about 15 miles out, my rolled up jacket that was on the rack dropped a sleeve under the back wheel and...

Kudos is clearing out our old test bikes on e-bay

I quite like the blue one with the commitee designed handlebars. Frame looks the same as my Eagle, dont recognise the motor though. I'm tempted to bid, but it would be pure indulgence!
