    Replacing a TranzXPST BL07 battery.

That looks like a DP15. It's unlikely to work with anything being recommended by others here. If it's in good condition I'd stick that on ebay - you'll likely get £40/50 for it from a Stow-e-way user whose own is knackered (new they're about £100).

    Replacing a TranzXPST BL07 battery.

It's the 4 pins in the middle - these are used to communicate between the battery and the controller/display. TranzX using CANbus (like Bosch, Yamaha, Brose, Shimano et al systems) allows a dealer to plug a laptop between the display and controller to interrogate the system - to see actual...

Anti rotation washer for Suntour Hesc carrera crossfire broken. How do I get one ?

Since Halfords own e-bike parts distributor Moore Large went bust, Halfords now stock and sell a good variety of e-bike spares for their own Pendleton/Carrera bikes themselves... displays (inc Impel and a couple of the 791 Pendleton versions that keep cropping up here), controllers, cadence...

    Replacing a TranzXPST BL07 battery.

AFAIK after Ebco and Raleigh both threw in the towel nobody else in the UK supports TranzX anymore... but they're still quite common in Scandinavian countries and mainland EU - Germany, France, Belgium - where many of their bike brands still do use TranzX (have done for many years). Given you...

    Battery mounting (Hailong)

There are a few that do. Two of my e-bikes use batteries (different brands) that both unlock at the head and then pivot from the base of the bracket and are taken out sideways. People seem to mostly buy Hailong because they're generally cheaper than the alternatives.

    Cargo bike Vogue Carry 2 | Bafang M400 | C07 | Lack of torque

But neither a TSDZ or a BBS will fit a frame welded with an M400 mounting instead of a standard bottom bracket.

    Problem with Proprietary Tech

It doesn't matter if we're in the EU or not; if it happens there, we'll benefit too because what's being sold in Europe - bikes and parts - is exactly what we're getting here too. Nobody is making anything specific for the UK market - it's way too small. More exciting would be an upstart making...

carrera vengence e (2021 version) - lcd display issue (small screen)

Although @saneagle is almost 100% always right, why don't you just take your bike back to Halfords where you can try a new display before parting with the cash? If your Halfords experience has been a bit crap, try a different store - they're not all rubbish: Some are really helpful and...

    Cargo bike Vogue Carry 2 | Bafang M400 | C07 | Lack of torque

@guerney is right in post #10. You can spin at 60rpm but once you're there, it "keeps current" at 30% in @guerneys example screenshot, which is typical. You can up it to 100% as @guerney has done, and it'll "keep" applying 100% current. IMO 30% isn't enough for a constant rpm rate hauling weight...

    Cargo bike Vogue Carry 2 | Bafang M400 | C07 | Lack of torque

I have a bike with the same Bafang 80Nm motor as you. It will pull like a train if you put the effort in. You're not listening to what you've been told... Your old bike with cadence sensor just needed the pedals to turn (even with little or no pressure) to apply power. Your new bike with Torque...

Adjusting PAS levels of assist on Engwe EP2-Pro

With the Bafang system/UART config tool, some parameters can only be set in the controller, but other parameters (like max speed) you can choose to either fix in the controller, or read a user setting from the display. I think Yolin may be similar, but where would you get the software from? I...

Has anyone used Swinging Wheels stabilisers on e-bike?

The maker highly recommends you take a test ride, and I can see why. It's quite a step-change in how a bike may handle and may not suit you at all. Have you talked to their UK dealer in Eastbourne? They may already have customers in your area (or at least closer) who might be happy to let you...

Opinions Of Engwe engine 2 pro For 15 year old

AFAIK the Engwe Engine X is largely the same bike as the Pro, except it's toned down a bit to make it road legal in the UK/EU (15.5mph, 250w motor, disabled throttle). It even has a Certificate of Conformity stuck on the frame to prove it. It doesn't have hydraulic brakes and "regen" may sound...

Hi! Looking for Fiido D21 alternative

I think you'd be hard-pressed to find ANY folding e-bike with a true torque sensor for (currently) £908. Even my D11 is now £74 cheaper at £726 than I paid a few years ago. Both are better, more refined bikes as both have had several improvements since they were first offered (smooth frame welds...

Adjusting PAS levels of assist on Engwe EP2-Pro

If you look at the display manufacturers manual (Yolin), you'll see that there are various parameters the bike maker can choose to include or not allow with your display. Obvs, Engwe aren't allowing some of those user settable options on your legal EU 250w model, but are on the more powerful US...

    Bafang Mid-drive M510 - 250 watt making clicking / clunking noise after 1,300 miles

Probably not your finest moment! I sat there with my head in my hands cringing just watching you ride WSM beach thinking - every bearing/gearing/chain is going to be trashed if you keep doing that! (sand+water=grinding paste)

    E-bike Advice

If you go the foldable e-bike route, consider the weight... manhandling up stairs, onto trains etc. My Fiido D11 weighs 17.5kg, which is about my personal limit for chucking around stations and into car boots. You can't go wrong with either Wisper or Woosh for folders or a full-sized e-bike...

    E-bike Advice

Several members here use folding e-bikes of all types for many reasons. I have a Fiido D11 for my commute, which is 8 miles of cycling each way (town, city, and country roads) using trains in-between. It has a 417Wh battery which can do 25-30 miles, but I wouldn't want to on a smaller-wheeled...

    Error 60

Are you sure the battery isn't just worn out? To only get 10 miles from an 11.6Ah/418Wh battery when the bike was "first purchased" suggests your partner isn't putting much (if any) effort into her cycling (i.e. just "ghost" pedaling?)... that's punishingly hard on a battery. On a bike/battery...

    Raleigh Stow-e-way motor issue

As the motor is spinning, it doesn't sound to me as if it's a motor problem. From previous posts here with similar issues, it's sounding to me as if it's simply the pawls in the freewheel sticking. The remedy there is to lay the bike on it's side and inject some 3-in-one oil into the bearings to...
